Best state in usa to live in?

I lived in Sarasota for about 6 and a half months, about what.. 20 mintue drive from TAmpa maybe a little longer, not far at all. Loved it, just no year round horse racing and that wasn't going to work.

So south carolina seems like a realy good state, gonna do some more research on it.
