Best places to visit in the U.K.

Sup guys!
Im turning 18 next month (Finally)
I'm planning a trip sometime next month or next few months to go there and go sight seeing, have a few good drinks, and have a good time

But I don't know which part I want to visit!
So for all you U.K. Djs out there wheres the place to go and have a good time and has a good night scene with good looking woman .

Also would people stare at me funny for being mexican american :rock:

London is nice because you can move out of the city into the countryside and hit up a lot of different towns in every direction. I got jumped in Slough so I wouldn't recommend that particular town , but Reading is good fun and there are towns all along the railway that are full of 18 year old pússy.

London's very expensive at night, though. Look for Wetherspoons (they're all over the country and under different names too) if you want to get sh¡tfaced. I'd also recommend hitting pubs out in smaller little towns because they're a totally different experience from what you'll get in the States.

Re: your race, in my experience people don't care if you're Mexican or anything else, but in a lot of (admittedly low-class trashy places like my hometown Watford!) places you will get shat upon for walking with white girls. My brother had a Chinese girlfriend awhile back and got shouted at more than a few times a night when they were out on the street, minding their business.

If your coming to London, bring some doe, as your weak dollar won't get you much in this already overpriced town. I hear the hotels are pretty full aswell.

I'd avoid London if I were you, VERY crowded and expensive. However, if you do go there plan out every single day in advance and konw what you're doing and where you're going every hour so you don't waste your money.

No one will judge you in England, they're very tolerant people (alot moreso than Americans) who have a sincere interest in other peoples cultures. If anything you'll fit in cus London is the most diverse city in the world. It's really really hard to stick out in London.

This TOTALLY doesn't mesh with my experiences in London. I've found Londoners (well, moreso the residents of cities surrounding London) to be some of the most intolerant and aggressive people of anywhere I've ever been, at least at night. There's a lot more random racially motivated youth violence (and random youth violence, period) in the UK than there is in the States.

Still, enjoy the UK! I'll be there in less than two weeks.

I think we should merk out Elephant and Castle, on account of the local council seeming to be incapable of choosing a permanent colour for the bait flea market - that fronts as the local "Shopping Centre" ...

While we`re at it, can we also get rid of Peckham High Street - it really smells bad (Halal meat my arse) - I reckon North London can have them, they need the "culture"

Mate you have to visit-

London
Lake District (Amazing Countryside)

And for a good night out try the Northern Cities of Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle or Leeds.

Also Edingburgh is class.

Avoid - Glasgow & Birmingham. S***holes.

Mate if you come to Scotland, then come to Edinburgh. Arguably the most picturesque city in the UK and v.classy.

(1) Brits are not more tolerant than Americans. Props to doctoroxygen for pointing that out. Americans are a very tolerant people compared to most of the world.
(3) England = Ugly Girls. Just a fact. EasyJet and RyanAir have made a fortune off of stuffing gobs of horny British men and sending them to places like Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius. A pathetic sight to see so many drunk brits make fools of themselves around really beautiful girls that they never see back home. The British are so annoying. Nobody likes them these days. It stems from their "lads" making fools of themselves in "New Europe". Funniest thing is that all they end up with are washed up hookers and cheap beer. Little do they know that if they were more polished (think French and Middle Eastern men) they would be in heaven.

I get a sick feeling thinking about what American dudes would do if Mexico was filled with 5'9" blond blue-eyed clear skin beauties with 24' waists. Oh well, American dudes are stuck with few options unless they wanna spend a large chunk of their lives in airports and on airplanes.

I just came back from a week in London -- great frickin' town (though a normal drip brewed cup of coffee is tough to find, but they make up for it).

Expensive as hell though.

I agree with the dudes who say that there is a dearth of attractive british girls -- but the city was, for my money, more international than NYC that you shouldn't have a problem finding someone to entertain you.
