I think I'm gonna start recording my approaches...any tips on what to record them with?

I use a small, handheld digital recorder for the reporting bidness, I think it was around $20. Fits easily inside your sleeve.

I don't think it's good for your self-esteem if you do things like this. Imagine telling your grandkids about the time you met: "Uh yeah I was practicing hitting on girls and I felt so bad about doing it that I had to take the tape back to my room and listen over it and obsess about it and then post the results on an internet forum for public discussion"

Don't even think about this. If you're going out HAVE FUN and girls will notice.
