Where do you live? It's easy to say that when you live in a country the size of a US state surrounded by other coutries that are a train ride away. It takes a lot for an american to travel abroad. I know people who've wanted to but have never been able to because of finances.

I would say Madrid, NY City, San Juan, and D.C. were the best ones. At least when I visited them. Dubai was the one that surprised me and impressed me as I did not expected to be the way it turned out to be.

Was not too impressed with Rio de Janeiro.

Plus a lot of it depends on what you are looking to do there. Live forever, go to school, work, buy a house, etc...

Take Key West for example, unless you are starting your own business, other than tourism and spillovers from that, there really is no industry there. So going there and trying to live and buy a house is would be a very tough undertaking. On the other hand (been there twice) it is a very cool and unique place that everyone should visit.

Same with me for Maui. I loved it and it is probably my favorite place to vacation. But, no way i could be in my line of work and live there. But given an unlimited amt of $$$ that is where i would have one of my many houses :)

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.

Oh, give me a break. Right now Im living in Norway, the most expensive country in the world (except maybe japan), but then again it also has the highest standard of living in the world too. Planerides and gas is ridiculously cheap in the US, at least compared to here. I think our gas prices are somewhere around 5 times more expensive. Anyways, do you really think that the distance from America to Malaysia is greater then the distance from Norway to Malaysia? Its just a matter of will and having a sense of adventure. Backpacking wont cost ya much.

Dubai Hands down. it's another world.

I live in Del Mar which is basically San Diego... I would put the life here up against any in the country. GREAT weather, women, beaches, sports, etc.

Holy sh!t, how could I have forgotten?

I was there about 5-6 yrs ago, and it was absolutely amazing! When you are American and you walk down the street the women in the cafes and stores stop what they are doing to watch you walk by. I was in my early 30's at the time and had two ladies who were best friends in their early 20's fighting over me.

1500 yr old churches, stores that sell fully automatic weapons, a traffic system that borders on anarchy (most of the traffic lights don't work),.......as an American it's culture shock to the Nth degree. And I mean that in a good way.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

Be careful what you ask for though. There's 300 million+ Americans. If all of them starting flying around the globe like there's no tomorrow, you can imagine what that would do demand/price of oil and the environmental impact. Airplanes are massive sources of greenhouse gases.

@Master Bates & In Motion:

I don't know about Norway (though I know you have a fairly hight c ost of living), but I have to kind of agree with Master Bates. I live in Germany and when I think about it it's ridiculous, everything in Europe is basically a plane trip of 1-3 hours away. I often find myself asking why I can't get any friends to travel with me for say a weekend trip or 5 days or so when there are so many interesting places close by.

Plus these days you have those cheap airlines (which arent cheap, because they're dangerous - AirBerlin for example is one of the safest in the world..and you dont really need great service on a 1-2 hour plane trip) and regular airlines offering cheap flights for like 100 bucks back and forth (only if you book early enough, of course!), which make travelling here within Europe pretty easy.

I've often caught myself thinking how Europe is sort of the size of the US and travelling to different states within the US is basically like travelling to different nations in Europe..though we have a little disadvantage that people speak different languages everywhere!

I plan on going to Amsterdam (friend is moving there), Stockholm and southern France during this and next summer and all of it will be really affordable travel and not take a lot of time..I really think effort/money wise it's very comparable to a US citizen travelling within the US.

No offense, though, In Motion, I guess it might be a bit different in Norway as thats a bit further from most places (being in the north). Do you guys have access to affordable flights such as RyanAir, AirBerlin or other affordable ones, too, or is Norway not well-connected to that network, yet? just curious

....that just reminded me of the people in Germany, who've been to southern Florida or southern California and then rave about how great the weather is in the USA (assuming all of the US has weather like south beach).

I haven't done that much travelling myself, yet, but the one funny thing Ive realized is that...people from Europe wanna go to the US/Australia/etc. and couldn't care less about the great places that are like an hour or two away from them..whereas people in the US and OZ wanna come to Europe so badly. Not true for everyone, but for many people I know..guess it's just less exotic and thus interesting if something is closeby

Anyone ever been to Windsor, Ontario?

I will be attending a convention there next week. Heard it's party city but I'm wondering if there is anything else cool to do there?

Poland is DEFINITELY on my "to see" list. The Polish girls in Berlin were absolutely stunning....

Actually, I want to see all of eastern Europe before it becomes homogenized just like the rest of the developed world. Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, etc. MY AW friend might be moving back to Europe in a year or two, and if so I will have the opportunity to get a guided tour of Slovakia.

I live in Windsor and it can be a lot of fun. The downtown rocks on weekends with American and Canadian babes strutting their stuff. Michigan is right across the border and many come to this side to party. If you like strip bars we've got some of the best. They seem to be hurting for business because of the economy and are offering free lap dances and other cool stuff. Prostitution is not totally illegal and there are many hot girls that'll spend the night with you for a few bucks.

You can also head over to Detroit and the surrounding cities. The Tigers might be in town and that area is pretty cool. Great bars and restaurants.

Windsor also has a world class casino that is run by Caesar's. It's worth a look and they have a lot of great acts appearing for the rest of the summer. Check it out on the internet and you might find something you like.

Good Luck and enjoy!

Cheers!

Chinese women are the least attractive Asian women. Just look at the Olympics as proof. They look androgynous. Thai, Phillipino and Japanese women are the best of the Asian lot.

If you're looking to game women abroad, here's a pretty good place to get some opinions: http://www.realmantravelguides.com/

You should visit Chengdu, Sichuan Province in China. Spicy Food, Spicy Women.

San Diego is a great city, very relaxed, great downtown area.

The Architecture in prague is amazing, also amsterdam has great architecture and is a great city to visit but it often gets overlooked.

Also, Ausitn is pretty awesome.
