I am a strong believer of learning through modeling others people's good behavior and avoiding their mistakes. I also believe most of us want a woman who is physically attractive; it is hard-wired in our brains to spread our genes around with the fittest females.

Now, I want to hear from the community: what do you guys find appealing in a woman besides her body? Be specific, give example, and state your perspective so that we can all learn cohesively.

Intelligence, ambition, independence.

Not a fan of girls who's plan in life is to find a successful male to take care of them.

-smarts is a must. you have to be able to hold a convo

-sense of humor

-passionate about something, preferibly something creative

-lives for the moment/doesn't let school or work dictate how she lives her life

-sexually liberated: knows what she wants, verbalizes it, acts like a lady in social gatherings but a pornstar behind closed doors

She likes me for me? Doesn't try to change you.
Smart, funny, creative, fun to be around, nice, will not talk smack behind your back.

I guess my main list.

- intelligence - not just book smart, but also a level of social awareness.

- sense of humour - pretty much comes down to personality. i'm big on humour so if she's not the sort to have a joke, or overly serious, stuff that.

- independence - doesn't need to constantly consult others for what she should be doing, or be overly needy. has her own goals and aspirations which she strives towards

- realist - e.g understanding of why you can't leave work at 1pm just because she wants you to see her pet iguana. (stupid example, but hopefully conveys my point).

- family - more recently a big thing I look for. my recent ex had quite a dysfunctional family and i found it such a turn off. there was no way I'd let my family become intertwined with her family (obviously harder to determine before you start seeing a girl, but still, it becomes a big thing)

Looks will only take a relationship so far.

* Her being clever enough to impress me with her wit.
* Her being extremely feminine.
* Her being such a great communicator.
* Her being sensuous and noticing things like flowers or birds.

Always be sure to remind your woman of these non-physical traits that you adore. When you subsidize something you get more of it.

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

Intelligence- I'm on the path to obtaining my bachelor's and possibly a master's degree and would prefer her to be doing something like this as well. Plus, stupid people, especially women, piss me off sooner or later.

Realistic- Not extremely optimistic and definitely not pessimistic.

I dont care if she's a tomboy, as long as she acts girly sometimes at least, then I dont care.

Agressive: I like assertive girls that will challenge me. I hate it when women can't speak their mind.

Intelligent: It blows my mind how many guys go for ditsy girls. A guy that is sure of himself wants a girl that is his EQUAL intellectually.

her femininity and ability to make you feel more like a man
This.

A trait common with short girls actually, when they are femimine and need your strength, simple things like asking for help with heavy lifting, can you reach up to the top shelf, can you get this lid off, make you feel dominant.

A girl that can hold up her own end of a conversation, instead of you having to think of every single topic, every single time.

A girl who has realistic expectations of you and of the world, instead of expecting you to be brad pitt.

One who can be funny, guys are generally funnier than girl but when when the girl is funny it really makes things click.

I'll tell you what i can't stand, its chicks that take their general opinions (politics, race relations, wars, religion, etc..) waaay too seriously and literally get angry when you have the opposite opinion. Wow, i just want to punch those b!tches. lol.

In others words, I like girls that know how to lighten up and know when its oppropriate to be offended and when
not to be.

Seriously though, Sense of Humor, easy going attitude and a mind of their own.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Kinda related in a strange way, they say you can't judge a book by its cover, but I think you can actually tell a lot about a person based on the way they look.

If you could have a ONS with one of these girls and then a long term relationship with the other, which would you have the ONS with and which would you have the relationship with?

1st girl

Independence is extremely important, can't stand it when she has no interests or hobbies outside of the relationship.

Virginal, Cooks, Cleans, Keeps Mouth Shut, Doesn't Steal ALL of My Credit Cards. Did I mention Virginal and Cleans. I have serious germ phobia issues. She has to be REALLY clean. I mean like always cleaning herself or things around her.

My nightmare is if someone comes over and wants to use the bathroom. Yikes! This also results in the necessity for me to stay at overly expensive hotels and my love of high-end department stores. Most high-end department stores have very nice changing rooms. They offer you bottled water and the rooms are sparkling. And no, I have never entered a locker room. I workout at my place or if I use the hotel gym I go back to the room to shower. And yes, I use EVERY towel in my hotel room EVERY night. I also brush my teeth three times a day if possible. If not I carry a disposable tooth picker to clean my teeth after any meal. Dirty teeth are nasty. Might explain why I don't like England.
