being skinny is one thing but what about when you look like a kid?

I have always had an issue with size. I look like a kid. I barely look 18 years old.
its funny to me sometimes and sometimes I get the worst shoot downs ever because of it. anyone else like this issue?



btw I am 28 years old

Bro would you rather be 28 and look 38? You look fine. Lift and lift heavy and your looks will sky rocket. Your an above average looking guy so the only thing you need to do is lift weights and put on 20 pounds.

What part of Chicago do you live in?

You look fine, and actually you're a good looking guy. If you want to bulk up I could help you or just go to the health and fitness section here and there is everything you could need to start a bulking and nutritional program that could put on some nice poundage.

You're upper body could for sure use some work.

It is a blessing to look younger than you really are. You''ll notice it more in your 30s and 40s.

The main reasons for how i look is I have metabolism issues and a thyroid disease. Not a huge deal but I do look like I am 18 hahah. I know you guys say its a benefit but it does have its draw backs. I have been in many an arguement just to enter a place that serves alcohol. THe house of blues in chicago still fvcks with me every time i go there. HOB says i have a fake ID and there were times they tried to take my ID and treat me like sh1t. :cuss:

Yeah probably the biggest problem is trying to eat all the food. My metabolism is very high so every waking moment was jamming another chicken breast, mrp or shakes down my throat. Preparation was also a pain.
Don’t just do the weights because that’s only one half of it. It’s the food and calorie intake that will make the biggest difference.

Yea, nothin 150 grams of protein a day and 4 days a week hitting the weights hard wouldn't cure.

Oops just saw you have issues with getting the protein down.

Anyway, I consider it a blessing that I still get carded about 50% of the time, and I'm 36.

Use it to your advantage, cause later in life the world might not be so kind.

Dude hit the weights and pack on some mass. Little muscle and you will be fine

The first thing that occurred to me looking at those pics, especially the first, was that you should pick a different hairstyle. If you want a hairstyle that says "I'm young and hip", you've got it already. If you want a more mature looking hairstyle, just about anyone besides the one you have is the one to go for.

Google for modern hairstyles and see if you can find some ideas/pictures that'd look good for you and add a few years of maturity.

Otherwise, you're a handsome guy. You are with your current hairstyle too, of course, but it just makes you look young which is your complaint. In any event, be thankful everyday that you are good-looking because not everyone is so fortunate.

I'm guessing this is an issue because girls your age are thinking you are too young for them. Fugg them and date 18-19 year olds while you still can. there will be time for the oldies soon enough.

This is great advice, but if I remember correctly, the poster started an earlier thread where he talked about how he was tired of the shallow party girls that he encounters on the scene. If he's looking for chicas who have more substance, 18-19 year olds probably aren't the best prospects.

definately on my way to trying and changing everything. Although i think changing the body helps change the mind. I am going body first then mental (well at the same time but you get me).

so far this week (1st week)
Weds - shoulders, arms, chest, back
3,000 calories
50 g protein
40 g carb

Thurs (much better diet day) - rest
2,800 calories
100 g protein
70 g carbs

Fri (so far..)- Abs, legs
500 calories
54 g protein
34 g carbs

Sunday - chest, arms, back (CORE)

workin on it! muscle memory helps too. Thank god i played sports! :up:

I'd like to know what how you will be thinking about this when you are 60. Looking youthful is always an advantage. Youthfulness is cuteness. You can show your masculinity by having a nice developed and lean physique.

BTW, you look like the guy on TV, Jon Stewart.

Last year, when I was 41, I got carded. The year before that when I was 40, I was keeping examined by a nurse and when she saw my age on my application, she said something like, "whatever you're doing, keep doing it." It was a great feeling.
