Basically I don't move for no one. This dude was being a ***** and automatically Thinking I should move for him. Later he came up to me and asked if there was a problem. Should I have just ignored him and treated him like the insignifacant POS that he is?

I think your attitude is typical of guys in their late teens and early 20s. It certainly was for me. If you have any sense you will eventually grow out of it. The best of us do.

So my advice is grow out of it a little earlier than the rest of us. You will grow out of it eventually anyway, so bowing down to the inevitable will probably save you the time and headaches.

You yield half of the space necessary for both to pass. Anything else and you deserve to get your face crushed, you're not being alpha you're being petty. There are more important things you should be concerned with then allowing someone to pass you in a cramped place.... Bossman

Not worried about that. I have trained for MMA and have given another guy a concussion in a fight. THe dude is beneath me and a waste of not only my time, but every body else.

um, there isn't a whole lot of detail in this.

Were you passing some guy on the street and then he turned followed and asked if there was a problem?

It doesn't matter dude, get over yourself. Assault and battery costs money to legally defend and might land you in jail or worse. Learn to balance between "can" and "should" it's what makes the difference between you and a monkey. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it. If you are going to rail someone make sure you are in the right.

That's $75,000 bail there homie... is that little bit of hallway space worth so much to you? I know i'd rather spend the money on a friggin 2012 Mercedes.

Learn to pick your fights...

One of my toughest friends got shot after trying some dude at a strip club. They followed him home and shot him on the way. His fighting skills didn't stop the bullet unfortunately. He didn't even get out of his car, they found him dead behind the wheel.

Being challenged for the dominance of what? The hallway to the bathroom in McDonald's? Come on...

So why are you writing about him then?

Sorry to be rude, but this is kid stuff. And anyone who says "I don't move for no one" just sounds like they're trying to prove something. If you're dominant, then be dominant.

Wow OP way to be so "Alpha" by not moving out of the way for someone.

I think a lot of guys here miss the whole point of "dominance"; it's not a matter of being the toughest tough guy in the room. OP, there's a good chance you could probably beat me in a fist fight, congratulations, but it doesn't make you a man or a DJ or alpha or whatever you strive to be. It makes you a meathead who has to rely "I can beat you up" for a backbone.

Be above stupid stuff like that, it's common courtesy. Yep the guy's a d!ck, so what? To dominate is to maintain complete control of the situation, getting pulled into a fight cause some other guy is an a$$ isn't control, it means I can do something petty, or say something stupid and immediately predict how you're going to react.

Be ready to fight for the things you value which can be taken from you or those you love; fighting some AFC beta chump who's looking for a fight cause he has something to prove is a waste of time and does not pay off. Don't be that guy.

I like where you're going Von. The most important dominance is dominance of self. Keeping control and making the best decisions for the best possible outcome.
