Being a volunteer fire fighter - DHV possibly?

Is being a volunteer fire fighter and bringing it up during a gambit or routine a good idea for a DHV Spike? (provided you are one)

A lot of cousins and family are firefighters and lets just say they all do well..

My cousin who just turned 21 and works in the city walks into the bar with his Chicago Fire Department tee shirt on and the best looking girls in the bar storm his ass. He doesn't even have to open.

I am also in the process of becoming a FF. I'm going into paramedic school and just waiting until I am 21 though to start testing in the city.

It's a serious DHV, but I don't know why you want to be a volunteer FF with no aspirations of becoming a career FF.

I hate people who name drop **** or say things they accomplished when it's not related to the conversatioin at all.

I'd have to say this is a bad idea, unless you're really suave about it. I would just consider it bragging. It's like people who talk about money, or their possessions, just to brag ya know.

For a fact, i know this is a DHV after using it as a gambit on a story to not come off as just saying that i do it.

And i do have aspirations of becoming a doctor, but before that I'd like to get a job as a firefighter and do college at the same time.

Be a firefighter to be a firefighter... Being something for the specific purpose of attracting girls is pretty weak and feminine behavior.

On the other hand, if being a volunteer firefighter sounds appealing to you, then go for it

Remember, don't brag about you being a volenteer fire fighter. When, she asks what you do. Then, you can say that.
