Basing Yourself around

Guys help me out here I mostly get my inspriation from others famous fiction characters is it wise to take some of your game or base your game on one of your role models? And how many at most is it best to base your game around?

It's not really good to imitate someone else's game/image/personality, because you're not being yourself now are you? All you're doing is acting. In the beginning when you start to learn how to pickup girls etc etc you can use certain techniques (eg. Mystery Method, David DeAngelo). But as you and your game progress you should start to implement more of your personality into your game. The techniques posted on this site and others are like training wheels, once you learn to ride you get rid of them because it's now you that's controlling the bike, you're the one balancing it out, not the training wheels.

but what if someone has a better personality then you.. Sometimes I like to picture myself as people that would feel how I want to feel in a situation..

example:

I'm on a date with a new girl. I like to picture myself as Brad Pitt or Justin Timberlake and I'm instantly not nervous and more confident and focused on acting as he would act.

I may not be being myself but I'm acting like people that are proven succesful.
