Basing Your game around

Okay Is it it a good idea to model your game around someone? I have three characters in particular which I want to implement their finest traits into my game to become the best Don Juan I could be.

Base it all around YOU.

It's ok to learn stuff from others, and improving yourself is important. But improve YOURSELF, don't turn into a composite of other guys.
