We all know that you need to keep yourself up if women are going to be attracted to you. Unfortunately, we also all have our own ideas of what that entails. Putting it all together can sometimes seem like a weeks paycheck worth of supplies, and since times are tough here in the USA now I thought I would share some money saving tips.
First of all, teeth. Your smile is probably a major selling point, and you want your teeth to be white and clean! This is the easiest and cheapest tip I have. Ditch the toothpaste and go buy a 70 cent box of baking soda. Yeah, just baking soda. It actually protects your teeth as well as cleaning them. The soda also is a natural deodorizer, so it will help your breath as well. Just wet your brush and put a small layer of baking soda on top, you don't need much at all.
For extra attention to breath, a mouthwash of 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon hydrogen peroxide, and a quarter cup of water will keep your breath fresh, whiten your teeth, and not destroy your gums or enhance your risk to mouth cancers (unlike commercial washes). Also, a $2 tongue scraper is a great tool for a quick breath freshener.
Hair. I have long hair, and for a long time it was that wispy, broken ends nasty thing. To fix that I stopped washing it every day. Now I wash it once every 2-3 days, and after it dries I take some olive oil in hand (just a few drops) and rub my palms together and run my hands through my hair. No frizz, no broken ends.
Shaving. You have to shave your face! Even if you have a beard or perpetual stubble, some trimming is required to look neat. A disposable razor and some olive oil works perfectly.
Skin care. Again with the olive oil, and we also revisit our friend baking soda. After your shower while the skin is still wet, take a daub of oil and rub it in. That's it. You will never have to buy lotions ever again. Also, a bath with a cup of baking soda mixed in once a week will help protect your skin. Pat Dry.
If you have acne, mix olive oil with good clay and make a face mask. Ten minutes with the mask on and then wash off. I promise you your acne will go away in about a week or so, and then just use the mask when you feel the need to.
Deodorant. Your pits stink. Use deodorant. The cheapest and most effective deodorant I've found is a lemon slice. I sh1t you not. A quick swipe of lemon will get rid of the stink. For extended protection, 3-4 applications over the same number of hours will keep you clean smelling for a couple days.
I would love to go into diet, but that's more for health and fitness, and we all have different dietary needs. So I'll just leave a rule of thumb. Watch how much you eat, and try to stay away from processed foods.
