Bartender girls "Come see me at work!"

I seem to have a streak with bartenders now.. great and all, usually down to **** quick but there is always this:

"Hey I am working at X come see me"

ok, now I understand they might want to get to know me better, but at a bar, really? especially if it's busy - I know its near impossible to do then.

plus I want to pick up other girls or just hang out and hook up with her.

So in short, would you go if she said come see me tonight - or would you reschedule and go get other girls?

having worked as a bartender myself, I can tell you firsthand that its all business to them. They want you to show up so that you will buy drinks and tip them, and furthermore they demonstrate considerable self-worth to the establishment if their presence can bring in extra customers (which gives them more business leverage with the owners).

Every bartender you ever meet will probably insist you meet them at work, for those business reasons.

If the place is dead when you show up, you may have plenty of room to try and game them, but if its busy then don't expect much. Personally I would hit on other chicks.

I bertended as well and I'd agree, but if I've already slept with the girl - why the hell would she see me as business client.

I think it could be her wanting to see me but just no time for it besides work?

If you know them well enough to get free drinks and use them as social profo- then go, its worth your time.

If you don't then tell them you're busy at that time whenever they want you to see them at work.

The same goes for chicks that work in clothing stores. I had a hot one that "invited" me to visit her store; she said that she was too busy to talk to me. I did find 2 cool shirts that I was very glad to buy, though.

So many possible reasons:

eg. wants her friends to check you out. Wants to see how you will respond to seeing her at work (she may give a lot of attention or not much). Maybe wants a security blanket at work.

Who knows?

This is 100% business to her. She'll be too busy to hang out with you if you go, and if you repeatedly try to engage her it will come off as needy approval seeking behavior. However, she may provide you with good social proof so you can game other girls. It's a great idea to get to know the bartenders at places you frequent.

I have always had great luck with bartenders and waitresses. Remember, they get hit on and hear cheesy lines all day/night. Flirting and active indifference have served me well with them.

If you're too good with them, you'll find yourself in "love triangles" with waitresses in the same bar, I'm in one yet again and it ain't my first rodeo.

I went out with some friends and told her we are to reschedule - which she agreed to.

It is different from girls you kinda met and girls you already established a connection with.

I just think it is dumb to go to her work if I am trying to spend more time with her - so I don't.


As for bartenders being something special - nah, not really.
