I use the computer for about 10hours a day and there's no way to cut that down because it includes work.
Anyway, I've been doing that for the past 5years or so. The first 3years was with a 15" CRT and has been pretty problem-free.
2years ago I upgraded to a 17" LCD.
The 1st year has been fine, until this year(the second), I'm starting to get really painful eyes after just 2 - 3hours of use. It gets better when I adjust some of the settings but comes back shortly after my eyes get used to it. This is a major problem because it makes concentrating really difficult and basically zaps everything out of me.
I was wondering which settings should I adjust?
1. Backlight
2. Contrast
3. Brightness
4. Gamma
5. Monitor Angle
6. Monitor Distance (from eye)
7. Monitor Height (it's currently slightly lower than my head, but I can elevate it with a book or something)
8. Ambient lighting? I'm using Orange spotlight.
