Axe/deodorants

Hi

I am a high school student, and I take a shower everyday, wash my face, etc, etc.

I thought of using deodorant sprays and the i was thinking about using Axe.

Do girls like axe?
which one should I use? (theres like a million different Axes XD)
How do I use it and how much?

Dude, whatever you do, Don't get axe.
Not only does it not last very long, majority of girls have experienced some douche drenched in that cheap crap ($5 a can).
Its just so over used, that really it puts you into three categories automatically:
-trend follower (you believe this stuff will get you ladies)
-Cheap
-Just another guy (you never want to be classified into the just another guy who wears that axe crap)

go out to your local mall, go pick up something not too expensive (you can find a decent cologne for $30). Make sure the smell is not overwhelming or strong and is something fresh and interesting to smell.
If you have some lady friends, i highly recommend you take them with you when you go shopping for cologne. They can give you some great advice and will help you choose something that actually smells appealing to girls.

apply to your:
-neck (2 sprays at max)
-front of your shirt (1-2 sprays)
-rub some: on your wrists, and behind your ears (ask any girl about why these are good spots)
you should already be wearing some sort of stick deodorant on your pits.

Thats it, your set.
Not only will a decent cologne smell unique and interesting, it will also last you the whole night and not just for a few hours.

hm...for day to day i just use deodorant..but never axe...my sister says she and her friends dislike it....i use old spice...but only cause it was the first brand i used...and girls mistake it for cologne lmao...

Also important: if you have long(ish) hair, think about the fragrance of your shampoo.
The scent of your washed hair is often much stronger than your cologne/deo - up to a day after washing, depending on how much hair you got

Also, when applying ANY kind of scent to your body, never overdo it. Your nose quickly adapts to the fragrance and so you might get tricked into thinking you haven't applied enough, when in reality the whole room is already drenched

Some girls like it, some hate it. If you want something cheap, I prefer Old Spice to Axe.

A good cologne is better than both

Haha, just spray your deodourant and cologne on. I just use Lynx for deodourant and some hugo boss stuff for cologne

axe deoderant = okay
axe bodyspray = lame

go get some real colonge. Armani, Desil, Enternity, Chrome. Go to some upscale stores and ask for help from one of the cute girls behind the counter and find a scent that really works with your body chemistry.

When you go shopping for colonge, make sure you are clean, use unscented soaps (so it doesn't affect the smell) and don't wear any colonge that day.

Spray different samples on each wrists...walk around for a while and see if the scent changes.

(its also a good pickup technique, ask a girl which smells better)

A good fragrance is worth the money you spend it on it. It sets you apart from the crowd of teenage boys all smelling like 5 dollar axe bottles. If you don't have the cash, ask your parents for a loan. Ask for an advance on allowance, or ask for it now as a pre-birthday/holiday present. Or go get a job or ebay some of your usless crap you have laying about. Good luck.

DONT buy into the lie that is axe, haha. It smells bad, and the others are right, it's way overused. I usually only wear deoderant to school, but i wear cologne if I dress up for some reason (i enjoy dressing classy every once in a while, not too fancy, just a sweater and collared shirt and slacks, etc), and I put it on whenever i go out with friends to see a movie or any place ill be hanging out with chicks. I read on here that the reason you should do that is because it gets girls used to the idea that they have to be close to you to smell the delicious smell. Also, make sure its something unique, not like Adidas or old spice, splurge and get a nice cologne. Its fun when you hug a girl, she pulls you closer and says "mmmm you smell really good"

Lol no. If you are going to buy cologne, don't get crappt cologne's such as the mentioned. PM if you want advice on cologne, trust me - i know a lot.

I'm bouncing around between two colognes these days. Diesel and Ed Hardey's Love Luck. They're both priced around $60, but they work wonders. I would just recommend going to a store that sells hundreds of different colognes and try a few out and see what you like. Axe isn't very good. It smells nice, but you and half of your class will be wearing it. If you want real results then you're going to have to invest in a little bit of money. My wingman uses some stuff called Animale which works really well for him, it's a little cheaper too around $30. Try some different colognes out and see what works well with your body. We all have different pheromones so colognes act differently to certain people, see what's best for you. The people at stores are usually very helpful.

In my opinion, the more obscure the better. You don't want to smell like every other freshmen in your high school. Find the cutest looking girl at the snobbiest looking store, she'll probably be able to point you in the right direction. But of course by the time you read this you should have already gone to the store and picked yourself out something nice, because now it's old news for you.

You guys are being way too hard on Axe.

I think that the main problem with it is that the majority of kids who use it spray on a 1/4 can a day. Personally, I wear it to work or on an average day just being out and about. It smells nice, and lord knows it's better to smell nice than stinky. That said, I'd rather smell like B.O. than a cologne bath. It seems like everybody gravitates to either Axe Essence or the Decadent variety. My favorite scent of it (actually the only one I'll wear from AXE) is Kilo. The one with the green on the can. No body uses it, and it smells great.

If your going out clubbing/on a date however, spring for a bottle of real cologne. It shows some class. My brand is Cool-Water. Just go to a department store, bring a girl with you, and try on some different colognes. For under $50, you can get a bottle that if you use right will last you quite a while.

Axe is good. Just don't spray too much, obviously. I used kilo and now have a vice spray. It smells good and girls have told me so, only thing is it isn't too classy since it's used by a lot of people, and is easily identified as axe usually. But still, I'm a soph in hs, i don't gotta be that classy atm, I still smell great.

I do one (split second) sprits to front/back of neck, sometimes down shirt, on wrists then rub wrists around neck and that area. No one has ever told me i have too much on/it smells bad/it's overpowering, and I've gotten plent of compliments on it.
