Hi guys,

I was walking in the city this afternoon, heading to my local bar for a cheeky drink before work, and I walked past my Ex, the first time I've seen her in eight months.

I crossed an intersection, and continued along the footpath, I glanced at a young boy, who I didn't initially recognize, and then I glanced at the woman walking next to him, and realized it was my Ex, whom I hadn't seen in eight months. We briefly made eye contact, and kept walking past each other without even acknowledging each other. I thought it was weird and awkward.

Darwin, being a small city, I thought one day we would more than likely cross paths, but when the time did happen, it was a bit of a shock, and I didn't know what to feel. I think about her nearly every day, but there is no way in hell that I would ever want to have anything to do with her. I don't know why I still think about her, the thoughts are more towards bitterness now.

Has anyone else here ever randomly encountered an Ex after a lengthy period of time, and how did it go? Complete wilful mutual ignorance, like we were complete *strangers* like I did, or did you awkwardly interact?

Cause you are 48 but in your mind you are weak pathetic soy boy, after 8 months you still think about her? You've wasted 8 months of you life not doing anything to get over her?

I have dated plenty of women since I left her. I can't help my brain... I don't consciously decide to think about her.

And I guess you haven't fvcked any of them. The quickest way to get over a girl is to get under 10 more. All women have puzzies, you can't get over her cause you are needy and she has something you need, that's on you to figure out. And hurry, cause time flies and you are 48.

I bump into exes all of the time, but I don't see how the interaction would be awkward, unless you did something horrendously stupid like cheating on her or drowning her baby.
