Boomer women were the original "Karens" as the name Karen peaked in popularity during the Boomer birth years. Karen was still a popular name during the early part of Generation X, but its popularity was dropping off steeply during the Gen X birth years. Few Millennials were named Karen.Gen X literally trademarked the "Karen"... How'd that generation miss your list?

The slang term "Karen" mainly refers to middle aged or older Gen X and Boomer women who are overly entitled and unpleasant. Boomer and Generation X women did not have this reputation for being overly entitled in their young adult years when they were dating but that seemed to develop in their longer term marriages and after 1-2 divorces.
Boomers generally raised Millennials and Gen X'ers generally raised Gen Z. In another recent thread, I made some harsh remarks about the quality of Boomer parenting with the Millennial generation. I don't think Gen X is doing much better with their parenting of Gen Z.Who exactly do you think is raising these generations to be this way..? Don't blame the child for becoming who the parent raised it to be.
