I am tired of reading things on the internet about hot looking people and average looking people, etc. E.G. "When hot guys date average looking women, they leave nothing for us average guys."
Isn't there a happy median in between average and hot?
In my definition, average means you are not ugly, but there is nothing really attractive about you either. You are kind of just there.
Do some people only consider those that are extremely attractive as "hot" and everyone else average or ugly?
IMHO, I see things like this:
Ugly- You are ugly and noticeably so. Most people will look at you and say, man that guy/girl is ugly. MOST young people DO NOT fit this category.
Average- You are a step above the ugly person, but there is nothing really attractive about you either. ALOT of young people fall into this category.
Above Average/Attractive- You are not extremely attractive, but you are attractive looking. You have some minor facial flaws. ALOT of young people fall into this category.
Extremely attractive/striking- Everyone takes notice when you walk into a room, because you have the perfect body/face. You are genetically blessed. These are the people who are models, are private dancers or are on soap operas. E.g, Natalie Portman and Brad Pitt. MOST people DO NOT fall into this category.
