Ok, i started a thread on the gay topic in the past but on a different question.

Everytime i have gone out clubbing / pubs recently i have been HIT on by a gay guy. Once it was at a club (trying to buy me a drink), other time it was at a pub (he kept trying to take my home for a coffee and saying how attractive i was) and...

My example from last Saturday night -
Dancing at a club, find myself part of a group of people (we are all in a circle) 4 guys, one girl. Notice one guy is making EC and smiling at me, continue dancing - he continues with EC so i back away from the group - 2 minutes later the chick from that group comes over ;
her "My friend is checking you out..."
me "Your friend?"
her "Yeah, what way do you swing?"
me "It's the guy with glasses, right ? Well, I'm straight babe"
her "Yeah, thats him...well, keep dancing"
I do a little Kino on her arse before she heads back....
She goes back to the guy and yells, "hes straight!"

Well, i started dancing with a new group at this point, all women and a few being HB's. I singled out the hottest one a bit later on but got shot down :( But all through the night, even when dancing with chicks i'd notice that gay guy staring at me!!! WTF.

With everything that's going on at the moment with my ex (oneitis) along with getting rejected a few times by women but being able to attract guys (unwantingly) - has got me thinking, maybe im doing something wrong?

I ONLY want women. Gay's approaching me doesn't worry me - but i don't want to lessen my chances of attracting women by doing something or by looking 'gay' !

So, my question.
Is it good to attract gays ?
Should i take it as a compliment or as a negative ?
Any other comments, welcome.

Why are you caring so much. The fagzor had his girl-friend come to you and ask whats up. You did what any heterosexual guy would do, say your straight and mack on the chick.

Who cares if he was looking at you. The fact that you kept acknowledging his existance probably provoked more looks from him.

If i were you i would have let the thought escape from my mind and kept on going with the night, macking on the honeys.

I did, and i got shot down, Im not that used to rejection (yet), plus i made sure i didn't hold EC with him, i'd just scan the room looking for HB's and notice him staring at me!

It's like this sh*t happens every weekend.

WTF, i want women not f*gs :)

I know how you feel dude, same thing happens to me every now and then ... dancing away at the club and some chick will come over and say 'hey my friend thinks you're cute' to which I say 'bring her over here' and then you get 'HE's over there'

I just take it as a compliment in that I must be dressed & dancing ok, and use it as an extra excuse to mack on some honeys ... ie grab some HB and say 'hey babe I just wanna clear something up for a gay dude who is eyeing me'

Not an issue. Don't worry about it. Seriously. Gays go out with so many guys and rarely spend any amount of time with them (i.e. they're just looking for the next pretty face) that there is no way you're emitting that much of a gay vibe. From my experience, if you're half-way decent looking and dress with an acumen of style, you'll draw guys, particularly if you're not really hanging out with any other guys.

Take it as a compliment and move on.

Take it as a compliment. You're good looking, you're dressed well. That's all there is too it. Just let them know you're flattered, but uninterested. All there is to it.

Who gives a **** bro?? You know your straight, take it as a compliment and move on. I use to be very critical of gay people, but I realize now that they are actually pretty cool people. Don't worry about one's that hit on you, just let them know your not swinging that way and it will be fine.

The only thing I can possibly think of as far as you getting shot down by girls is maybe you look gay? No offense. Some doods take the "pretty boy" image to a new level these days. Just make sure your not too pretty, that might be why your attracting the wrong crowd.

Good points all, thanks for the input.
Keep it coming :)

Thats what i'm a little worried about. I do change my hairstyle quite a bit...sometimes i go messy, sometimes the push forward up and the front kinda look. Also change my clothing but usually just go jeans and t-shirt.

Maybe i should shave my head and dress a bit more daggy :)
Or should i keep doing what i'm doing ? Im obviously attracting people, just the wrong sex. It might still be a good sign ?

Ahh, i dont know.

Just make sure you're not dressing like a pretty boy because you're probably giving off a gay vibe with your appearances. Don't go daggy, just make sure you're a little rough around the edges and you should be right.
