Asking girls on the Dance Floor

hey guys...ive recently been on a weekend activity with cadets and stuff and we had a dance

Plz dont take this as racism

at the dance there were lotsa black guys and black girls but im chinese, but it was a multicultured dance cuz i live in Canada but there were jus lotsa black ppl. So yeah the black guys were grinding with the black girls and they were going way past grinding! lol

but anyways i grinded with 6 girls (pretty much the sluts) and got rejected by 2.

you have to know that i dont know any of these ppl

1) the first rejection i got was when i asked her, she said something and i couldnt really hear her cuz the music was so loud. and some other guy said that he wanted to grind with her (i think that was her boyfriend) so i just walked away.

After, when i thought about it i think she said "ok, wait" cuz i didnt hear her, i jus heard her say "blahah blah" so i walked away

2) after like 30 min or so, i got kinda bored and a little desperate cuz i didnt grind so i was kinda looking for any girl i could take. most of the hot girls were taken by the other guys so i went up to this HB 5? lol like an ugly girl and asked her if she wanted to dance. she said NO

this is kinda confusing cuz when i asked the hot girls to dance they say yes, yet when i ask the ugly one she says no? whats up with that?

[i thought to myself that maybe i was too good for her lol]

the reason could be because shes too shy or she or she doesnt like to dance...but lets assume she does like dancing...

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY A GIRL WOULD SAY THIS?

No offense bro, but maybe they just don't think you're good looking or have a good body. Girls like to dance, but like guys, they like dancing with good looking people.

From my experience with girlfriends and girl friends, most do not date asians. Stick to other asians and you'll have better luck

When you want to dance with a girl, you don't ask her if she wants to go on the dance floor, you lead her onto the dance floor! Don't bother fvcking asking them, just take them by the hand and say, "Come on, let's dance".

If she's hesitant, just say, "come on, it'll be fun". She'll cave and follow.

They do not date Asians? WTF are you talking about? I've seen a million asians with hot girls and talked to women who have a thing for Asian men. Anyways, Forget Wiesman, you see someone you want then go after it. Don't ask a girl to dance as an opener. It's okay to ask them if you've been just talking to her and wanted to show her that you can dance too. Otherwise if you're on the dance floor already just walk up and starting dance with them unless you read body language on her that says otherwise.

If once chick rejected him he's suddnly bad looking? Only unconfident pu$$ies have this mindset.

Moreover, who said that white/black/green or whatever chicks don't go out with Asians? Many times in clubs I've seen Asian guys dance with non-Asian chicks and vice versa? Besides, it's Canada, it's very multicultural here.

Anyhow, I support what the other 2 guys said. If you want to dance with some chick you don't know at some club or similar venue, you don't ask her, u try to make EC, if its positive, u dance, no words required. I've tried asking chicks: "do u wanna dance?" in clubs and got rejected 100% of the times, the chicks were HB5-10. When I just took a girl by the waist and smiled at her when she turned around, I got MUCH better chances. Clubs are informal. And forget this "HB5 didn't wan to dance with me, what the hell is the problem?"
WHO CARES? It's fu(king 1 chick, why dwell over it when u can NEXT her? Who cares what were here reasons? Besides, u said u got rejected by 2/8 chicks.. Be Happy!

Prolly cause your asian and she didn't want to get clowned.

Secondly, you might of thought she was ugly but to us she mighta been aight and she coulda had her head all blown up. Especially if she had a huge butt and hips.

I hardly ask chix if they wanna dance. I just go up to them and say, "let's dance" and I do get way more positive responses than most guys do. I only dance with the hottest (never let your standards fall no matter how desperate you are). Sometimes tho I do get a rejection, and I just brush my shoulders and go ask another one. Don't let rejection get to you. Just go and have fun with the chicks, and for God's sake race has nothing to do with getting chics. I'm black and I've dated girls from different races. There could have been a million reasons why she said NO to you. Pick-up isn't an exact science. When Michael Jordan missed a shot, did he start wondering "What's wrong with my shooting technique? Why didn't it go? Has the defense figured me out?"

If you go up to 50 women and they ALL say NO to you, then you need to do some self-analysis. Until then, just roll with the punches and move on.

i agree w/ des, don't bother asking them to dance... actions speak louder than words... but one of the lamest things you could do is surprising a chick from behind...(i see it alot) unless the chick IS a slut and permits you to grind on her a$$... i admit, ive used the sneak and grind tactic b4... but the chances of gettin that chick rather than using eye contact and making her notice you are much slimmer...
here's a tip that i use, rather than findin a chick thats dancing, find one that's just sitting there... ask her why she isn't dancing... the common repsonses i've gotten are, "i'm tired", "i'm resting", "blah blah blah..." responde with somethin creative, ****y, funny... it doesn't matter, whatever would spark a conversation or get her on the dance floor...

The usual opener I get from a girl is the "smile turn around." I'll get EC and send a smile as I'm dancing then she holds EC and smiles while turning her back to you. It's basically an invitation to get behind her a$$ and let the beat take over. Like mentioned above: no words, no invitation, just pure nonverbal communication. Though beware cause drunkeness will hinder your ability to read non-verbal ques and get you into trouble sometimes. Though by then it usually doesn't affect you.

Thanks for standing up for the Asian brother everyone. It's just tough these days being fresh off the boat.

I never have problems with the sistahs tryna get with this Asian cat (although, I'm half black). But like the dude said earlier...don't ask them to dance. Just get on the dance floor and dance by yourself. Then just start dancing with girls who are dancing by theirselves or with other female friends. They will dance with you...I've got many 100% Asian friends and they have no problem either. Trust me.
