Does saying "can i have your number" really effect women in a huge way. I am wondering because i was talking with this girl (first approach) after she was giving me very good signals of interest and things were very good until i droped the question. She simply said "i will talk with you later" and we parted ways. I have a really hard time believing that just one damn line makes you look bad or needy.

Yea it is hard to believe but for the most part if you ask a hb this question most of the time unless she is really into you or wants to play you fool, she will not give it out. I mean think about it how many times do you think she is asked this by other guys on a weekly/monthly basis probably quite a few times. So its just coming up with a clever different approach to getting her contact information than rather to just blatently ask for it out of the blue. :nono: :kick:

Yeah you have to find a situation to ask for her number. If you really click with her and both of you agree that you should see each other again, then asking her number shouldn't be a problem. David Deangelo suggest pretinding to walk away then turn around and asking her, well that might work too it all depends on the girl

Begin with the end in mind, plot out how you want it to turn out. Just be firm and upfront about it, they already know what you want so there is no use in beating around the bush, just say it. You're not asking them a question, you want to make a statement e.g. "We should get together on X at X, whats your number?".

yeah it does effect girls in a huge way. Instead of asking for her number, you should suggest that she gives it to you (EX. You should give me you number so we can chill sometime). So dont ask, suggest.

So do any of you think there is a chance of a rebound from something like this. I see this girl around so is it a good idea to approach her and ask for a straight answer, no bull****, or maybe act like nothing happened and keep trying to get to know her more. Wouldnt an AFC just give up the first time?
