Here's the article with comments:
This comment nails the situation:
I’m mid-30s, female ... There are almost No Men who identify as liberal, and for me (notably atheist), politics potently codifies shared values. Another experiment: created profile on app, initially just uploaded photos— dozens of interested swipes; Later added blurb for bio, cheekily inserted the word “feminist”— No more swipes. It’s gender warfare out there and a crisis of heterosexuality and masculinity!
All my married friends’ husbands hail from college days; they have no single male friends to set me up because they don’t have male friends, period. Male social networks are kaput, to all our detriment. Local MeetUp groups almost All female. Can’t find a feminist man on the apps, so now browsing the sperm bank instead, living my best life with my dogs
my opinion: All heterosexual men know that it is impossible for feminist to be a good partner for a man.

When society lies to women like that you only create delusional women.

Men pay no attention to moronic statements if the girl is hot. She can be in a feminist phase (or whatever other stupidity) and men will say what they think will increase their chances to have sex with a such girl. But obviously they will dump her ass after. Over and over she will be dumped and when she reaches 30's and her SMV tanks she will have no idea why men can't stand her.

The problem with mainstream media organizations such as the New York Times is that you don't get the real story on issues like these. They focus on anecdotes that fit the narrative that they want to push. The New York Times is one of the most biased sources out there.

The New York Times only tells this story from the feminine point of view, which is meaningless. If Abby has had problems dating for the last 10 years, then it is solely Abby's fault. She has thousands of men awaiting her swipe right, as even the New York Times acknowledged in 2017.

Abby is a financial analyst, meaning that she has a bachelor's degree or higher. If Abby isn't overweight, she's likely overly fussy the options that she has. Educated women tend to be that way.

None of these mainstream media articles are written from the male perspective, which is the more valid perspective on fruitless app dating experiences. The typical man is having a lousy experience on the apps. They are having the problems of too few matches and/or too many first dates of the "one date, no sex, no second date" variety. Having those experiences over a 5-10 year period can be psychologically and physiologically damage. That leads to incel/MGTOW/blackpill and overconsumption of porn and video games. That's bad.

Also, who the fucck are the 57% of people who said that their online dating experience was positive? Must have been women enjoying the attention and the top tier men getting a variety of poontang. It isn't the more average or even slightly above average men.

One of the women in the article is f0cking 40. She should have secured a good prospect a couple of decades ago but she was too busy riding the c0ck carousel. Now she complains she can´t find a good match. SMN

Stories like this are becoming more common now that the 1980s born Millennial children are turning 40. The Millennials have had a piss poor track record in relationships. Unlike their Boomer parents who typically married and divorced, a good portion of Millennials didn't marry, didn't have children, and have had a series of failed relationships in their teens, 20s, and 30s.

I agree. It's almost always written from a female pov. Men just stay silent, ashamed to tell how terrible old is for them. Was taking about it with a homies he told me he NEVER gets a match anymore. Imo not a bad looking dude, just small. But never a single freaking match??insane.

She said she felt " forced " to have s3x but we know she swiped right on Chad's only, guys who say " make out or get out", and have women lined up anyway.

10 years of tinder by the way. Let that sink in...

I'm not ashamed, 3 years on Tinder so far. Maybe 10 matches, all dead leads. Managed conversations
with 3 women which resulted in nothing. Zero dates, nothing. I'm not really sure why I bother with it?
Current status 40 likes, probably bots and scammers. Zero matches.

I visited a Tinder subreddit. The amount of losers trying to help each other on how to keep women entertained by trying to figure it out the best openers and replies.

Its absolutely ridiculous. Some men will say they had let's say 100 matches, and so they came up with 100 " witty" unique openings(because saying hi isn't sufficient anymore). Zero response nevertheless...
