I wouldnt become over reliant on online dating if I was you but look at it as a secondary option to going out and meeting people. Make sure you have some really good photos of yourself on there and treat it as a bit of harmless fun and getting to know someone rather than getting serious too quickly. In real life when you meet a girl if she finds you attractive and you are charming and funny then she will be interested, all the same rules apply to online as well.
