How is it done? Do you remain passive and risk looking weak, or do you try to put her in her place and risk looking like someone who has no self-control? I've only really experienced the latter. She pisses me off and I tell her exactly what I think, only to be told that I'm wrong and that I'm an *******.

Dude I have snapped on so many girls. I hate that they will do little things to piss you off, then when you give it to them your the bad guy. I recently have learned to never get mad no matter what. This shows weakness. Be calm and act like u don't give a fnck. especially never show jealousy.

I suspect this girl you're talking about has issues and frankly, do you need her crap every time you see her?

Tell her you're done with her, keep it short, don't give her space to argue or say anything and move on to far, far better things.

I agree. Although it is very difficult to do the above, it is the best action, IMO. It seems as if every time I argue with my woman, I lose more control of myself and say more and more hurtful things that I regret later and in teh end, I feel bad about myself.

If you go off, you can never give yourself the satisfaction of saying that you are the mature and reasonable one and that will eat at you.

It's not something that happens every time we talk, but it's like we can't really discuss anything other than everyday **** without getting into an argument. I've never had a problem with people disagreeing with me as long as they can remain civil about it. This girl though, thinks that she's always right and never even tries to look at things from my perspective.

This is a sign that you are dealing with an unreasonable person, man. Someone who is unwilling to have some understanding of your point of view and is very argumentative, just ain't the right one. I know you probably hate to hear that but I had to deal with the same thing recently and things are improving.

I told my woman that if she continues to argue with me in such a manner, then we are going to have to go our separate ways. If we can't discuss things in a mature fashion then it will be over. Things have gotten so much better since then. You have to take the bull by the horns here.

Going off on a girl smacks of immaturity.

I recently was dating this one girl who flaked on me and then "sort of" tried to pull the relationship back together. She told me we "needed to talk" and then when I showed up she had obviously changed her mind and went cold. I got pissed off for a bit but then realized that it wasn't going to help.

So I kind of went cold myself... and she got so obviously flustered she almost started to cry and walked away. I had obviously showed her I wasn't going to stress about it. I'd taken control.

Since then she's come into my store several times (to get stuff) and I've been freindly but not open, while she's clearly nervous and hoping that I'll be with her again. SHE is chasing ME.

I wholehearteldly agree with this. Once they stop compromising and start demanding everything you've lost her. I dropped my now ex-fiance over things like this, because after all the wishy-washy promises she made she still was miserable to be around.

What you fail to understand, is that women are not logical, they are emotional.

If you're arguing you already lost. No matter what you say, her emotions will override her logic.

So, my advice, Don't argue with women.

If people (both men and women) want an argument, they typically just want to went. So let them went. Let it in one ear and out the other. Don't get involved because that just escalates the situation.
