I'm also reading Psalm 91 which promises that no plague will come near this home. Read verses in Psalm 91 out-loud to spiritually kill the root of the virus. I've heard stories that there was a priest which held the Bible up against the Black Plague in Europe, at the entrance path of his town, that stopped that virus in the tracks and spared that town. This should be a time to look to Jesus and get more passionate about Him if you are a lukewarm Christian.

We dont know how long this oil war will last. But US oil producers cant compete with Saudi prices. If the oil war is protracted this could lead to layoffs and an economic downturn in states like Texas.

I’m more so worried about my father. He’s a more ‘at-risk’ population, plus because I know he’s not gonna miss a day of work no matter what.

The irony is that your mindset is exactly what puts you in the situation where gyms are closing down and supplies are running out, i hope you realise that. No one worries until it hits them and/or their family.
There's no need to panic and take irrational decisions like stocking up on food and toilet paper (wtf?) but the ignorance in this thread is alarming.

My concern level is a 7. I had. Vacation to Puerto Rico planned for a giant beach festival. It was cancelled. A lot of folks are still going but I think it’s foolish to travel right now. It’s not so much the virus itself but the potential quarantine and exposure while you’re away from home. People forget the hardest part of any trip is getting home.

For a personal level, I have asthma. Although I have a strong immune system, respiratory infections can get a bit painful for me with the coughing. I’ve never had pneumonia or the flu. I get rid of colds quickly though the cough can linger with the asthma.

Yes, My main firsthand source of knowledge about this virus comes from my son in law who is an internal organ specialist at a large hospital here in Texas. He doesn’t think this virus is that big of a deal. If Iran is digging graves they’re so far of track from US medical normal it’s mind boggling …
I personally don’t really care what Iran does on this because they, like N Korea are so far behind the rest of the world that they’re considered abnormal.

I had the flu about a month and a half to 2 months ago. I was the last one in my family to get it. Everyone else was sick and felt like complete utter crap. Me? I didn’t feel any different. In fact, I only knew that I was sick because my voice suddenly changed to be super deep and raspy like how all of theirs did, but other than that, I had no fever, no achiness, no weakness or tiredness, nothing. I was still going to the gym and my strength and endurance was not affected at all. This is even after I walked outside with just a T-shirt on while it was snowing like hell (I always walk outside, even when it’s cold, and I never dress warm enough so that I accustom myself to the cold).

I’m not trying to show off or be overconfident, but I honestly believe I’ll be fine. Like I said, I’m only worried about my family (my father specifically). But me? Only God really knows, but it’s not my time yet, and I know this because there’s still things that I‘m supposed to do first.

Like I said, I’ll be okay, God-willing.

I'm not highly worried about the virus itself. I'm worried more about the food and medicine supply. I'm doing a shop this morning. I accidentally overstocked on toilet paper a couple of months ago which is paying off now.

As for money, I still have the bulk of what I made selling my house 2 years ago in savings. I have investments if I need more. The government is also sending me money they owe me for my kid who wasn't claimed for 2 years. I'm good for money for a very long time.

There are things I could have in place a little better. I'm legal to own a firearm but don't currently have one. I want to hunt my own meat. I had a raccoon kill all my chickens last year, so I don't currently have that.

If worse comes to worse, I'll just dumpster dive fvck up orders from behind pizza shops (the things you learn when you deliver pizzas). America will have a hard time learning how to get out of their wasteful habits. I've been poor and lived without toilet paper, so bring it the fvck on.
