BTW I don't think women have any race preference. As long as the guy makes her feel good, thats all that matters. But I do think that most people tend to lean to their own race first.

"Mature/older" Women have a preference to the males with the highest earning potential or in the case or younger women, physical attributes that are considered desirable by the majority of the population of the dominant race. - Basically most women will be prone to white men or eurocentric looking males of their own race if they are minorities. This is based on the current realty of the american socio/racial economic dynamic of today. There is still some what of a steriotype that afrocentric males are better for sex so many women will use them for such but seldom for a serious LTR.

Dude, you need to come to the South. I'm a minority (look Latino/Middle Eastern) and white women with skin that is only one or two shades lighter than mine act like I'm an alien or like they are 100x better than me. Caucasian guys reign supreme here with their own women by far. Unless a minority guy is an athlete, millionaire, or movie star, majority women here are off-limits to them in practice. I wish there were some Latina women here, but I'm out of luck (I'm not in Texas btw). I'm open to African-American or Asian women, but good ones are far in between.

One day I'll make it and go to Sweden, Norway, or Denmark, but until then I'll just concentrate on school, friends, and the gym.

I don't agree, I think the reason that white women proportionally date a higher % of white men is because most hook ups are through social circles and social circles tend to be of the same race due to commonalities, ancestry, etc etc. So basically white men have more opportunities to hook up with the pretty white girls. A lot of the time family ties and so forth even help, you'd be surprised how small a world it is.

From personal experience I've had perfectly fine interactions with white women and attracted many and never felt that I was rejected due to race. I only felt I was rejected (well, flaked upon after a good interaction or got told they had a bf or bailed out pointlessly myself ...) due to the dynamic at hand which meant women are sought after too highly.

However, I do believe there are traits that white women do not like due to media, social conditioning etc. Things like being nerdy, having a foreign accent, dressing foreign, foreign habits etc. all decrease one's chances because they are more comfortable with their own culture. Voice tone and habits are IMO very important. Speak like them and act like them and 95 % of the 'problem' evaporates. Problem is, a lot of ethnic guys are quite ethnic in their ways and not in sync with the white way.

It really depends on region. In urban areas, there's a bigger mix of ethnicities, so there's a level playing field there. The suave white guys get white chicks, as do the suave black guys, hispanic guys, indian guys, etc.

I'm a poor black student going to college in a preppy town full of filthy rich Caucasians, in a school where racial self-segregation is a huge issue. Obviously, for me, both because of race and economic factors, I'm at a huge disadvantage.

Man thats exactly where I'm coming from...the white guys get their share of minority girls too, so I'm stuck getting nothing. Its like where I'm at now is forcing me to be an AFC.
