Hey guys, I'm a bit confused not gonna lie.

I'm 19 yo. and I bought my first-ever car here in Poland for $6,5k thanks to working hard on my online business. It's one of the best cars among my friends and schoolmates.

However, this car is not much "sporty". It's not some bmw e46 or some Mercedes. (You can google Opel Astra J sportstourer)

And I'm confused, if girls are looking at a car (even at that age) or not or just who you are as a man.

I'm now not sure if I should get extra $5k - $10k to buy some Audi a5 and if that would increase my status because not gonna lie I really like this car. It's cheap to maintain, leather interior and so much more advantages.

I also have a goal to make $30k and buy some studio apartment here in Poland this year, so I wouldn't have to pay the rent and I could move out from my parents at a very young age.

That might also increase my status and how women see me but would appreciate your feedback guys.

I think when I was 19, girls were more interested that you had some sort of transportation, rather than how classy or sporty it was. Of course that was back in the dark ages. The order of importance was:
1) Did you have transportation?
2) Was it neat, clean, and maintained?
3) Was it sporty or stylish?

So what kind of car it was fell at the bottom of the priority list. It was definitely there as a consideration, but it wasn't a necessity. If they thought you were an up and comer with a bright future, they'd probably figure you'd get a better car eventually.

No, absolutely not! Especially not in Europe
The only place it matters is in Miami. People are shallow, snobby, and extremely materialistic in that city.

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

You are full of covert contracts, "If I get X I'll get Y" It doesn't work and will cause major pain when that it doesn't happen.

Agree. It does not matter to the girls. My question, reading your post was "Why? Why is he asking this? Who did he buy the car to please?" Random girl you haven't met yet? No no no no NO.

You like the current car. Fine. Keep it clean and be proud of it, because you worked hard and earned it....but say nothing. Let how you keep the car immaculate tell of your pride without opening your mouth. Otherwise you sound like a show-off & you sound transactional.

Same with your own place. Save the money you are thinking of spending on a more fancy car that you do not need and keep it growing to buy an apartment....for YOU not for random girls.

You think "If I have X I will get/deserve Y"....that's not how life works and women will avoid you if you have an entitled, transactional vibe with those covert contracts.

My husband drives a very clean Japanese sedan that is 22 years old. He keeps it in showroom condition. I drive a much newer very expensive European coupe that I could buy 30 of his cars for its value. I didn't care at all about my husband's car, I still don't care. He takes meticulous care of the car, but I cared about him, not his wheels.

Yes it matters. The girls do get together and talk about who has the nice car. And you will get more guys trying to pal up if you have good wheels and you pay for the gas. Its part of the whole point on wealth display. But... its the car, not you.

Suggest you resist the urge to get attention from cars (for now). Save and invest already if you can.

Look for other venues, like business clubs that meet and discuss online business or just business.

Even at a young age, owning a home(condo) is higher pri than a car for many girls.

And, you likely can not yet afford the car that really calls attention.

Now don't get me wrong here, because I did own a sports car for a time when I was young. BUT:

I worked with this gentleman who told me he considered sports cars as "kiddie cars", because they mainly appealed to kids, teenagers. Because you don't need it, you're not going to be racing it, they're not comfortable to sit in, you're going to pay extra insurance premiums on it, and just who are you trying to impress anyway? I've always remembered him saying that, and I can't say I disagree with him. Get a nice reliable car that's comfortable to drive with maybe some luxury features, and you'll be better off.

Now some people are just into sports cars, so if that's your thing, fine, but for a casual, you just don't need one.
