I agree with this but I have to add that your not responsible to your friends for your actions but to God and your family. You shouldn't base your personal life decisions on the actions of your friends, or what happens in the news or in the world. I believe in 100% personal responsibility, so if you do start doing what your friends are doing then it is open for me or anyone to question your character and your sincerity to your faith.

I don't know what your faith is but I would check with God through the bible before making and drastic life decisions.
