he for sure isnt ready for that, and we are both away at grad program and i am a couple years ahead of him, so we will have to part ways in one years time anyway when i graduate.

Damn you sound like a good (female) friend of mine. To make a long story short: she always hooks up with guys she knows are leaving anyways and then is like "do you think he's serious about it?" plus she says something like "I wanna be with him but we're going to go our seperate ways in a couple of months anyways, because he's leaving".

Seriously when you girls say stuff like that you dont really mean it, but you do hope there'll be a long-term relationship (even if it's long-distance), right? I mean otherwise there would be no reason to bother trying to get the guy to commit anyways....wassup with that?lol

Oh and...I dont agree that a guy at 21 cant commit because he pops boners all day..I guess I could have committed when I was 21 and really liked that girl (tho Im kinda lucky it didnt happen, now) and I know quite a few guys who are ready to commit at that age. However these guys are never really the type of guys who cheat on their g/f...Latter ones are (usually) those that are probably not ready to commit..or maybe are ready to commit but then want a break after 2 years or so so they can still **** around a little before getting serious about it ;-).
