Almost every time I see a girl of interest by herself, shes on the phone texting or talking, or on her laptop, or has her ipod on. I'd feel pretty intrusive if I just walked over and kind of interrupted. Anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this? Or should I just forget it and move on haha.

hey man.

Stop making excuses :p

If a girl is talking on the phone, its rude to interupt, but you can wait till she finnishes the call then make your approach.
If she is txting, she cant possibly be txting for more than 30 seconds or so, wait till shes finnished if you want, or just approach.
If she is just on her laptop, or reading a book, or doing whatever.. interupt! So long as you are polite, its not an issue!

Deal with it by recognising its really not a problem. Most people are doing somthing all the time, and generally speaking, you can interupt them so long as you do it right.

Good luck

Don't let the thought of her BEING constantly engaged in phone talking, sms'ing GET IN YOUR WAY.

Just approach, tease her about how she must be very good with words since she's always glued to the phone etc.

Then, introduce yourself, e-mail/number swap.

Follow up later on your first date and get to know each other better.

Yah! everytime I see a a girl of interest, shes BUSY on the phone or doing other. Heck, the majority of females I see, are always on the phone or just not approachable for different reasons via street, mall, bus stop etc. I'm starting to think this is a shield? or just a look some girls want to portray that they're busy?

I knew a girl once that would ring her voicemail or top-up service just to be seen on the phone and do this over lol. When you leave your house today, have a look around at how many women are on the phone, not just the hb's, but every single one - its unbelievable.

She cant be txting for more than 30 seconds or so? What!?

So long as you are polite, its not an issue That would probably be the ISSUE, I'd rather be the joker and get rejected than be polite-innocent, interrupt and then get rejected.

Why do you think girls always want to be seen on the phone?

I gathered that mate, what I wanna know is what is the reason behind them doing so? I assume it is to ward off people sniffing around, but I'm usually off the mark.

Yes more than likely. . . As I said, its a shield - which just needs to be broken down.
