i have fallen (sharply) to afc status by the long term choice if inaction & ltr(s). being totally fed up with this i thankfully found this site, bootcamp, and am waiting fot the 'How to be the bad boy...' book in the mail.
because i don't drink, have no/few friends currently, live on a huge campus but don't go to school, i think i am a great example. im late 20s & goodlooking. i have rarely been popular, but that's what being an afc is i think, not popular!
i had two cold approaches today, one was before i read the cold approaches archive post and one after/during...
1)at the coffee shop, while reading the DJ discussion, i started talking to a HB6/7 who was studying behind me, i didn't ask for a #, and ended the short convo as i became nervous.
2)at one of the campus libraries the librarian(hb6/7) started talking to me when i came in, so a liitle later i cold(?) approached her, asked her if she was single, got a considered yes, then i went blank (nervous again!), my tone was screwy anyway and i # number closed but got a "how old r u?"...i tried to flip it but she wouldn't budge so i came with 27 to her 21... then it got bad as i tried to convince her i wasn't to old, then i bailed and she was still happy i had asked
*i assume my nerves will cool with action repeated, boot camp, the dj bible and i do feel better/more confident.
?---do DJ skillz apply to being bullied ie being socially excluded at work?
