Has anyone ever tried quitting alcohol for an extended period of time and noticed improvements in approaching women? such as, less anxiety, more confidence..?

i know that alcohol temporariliy reduces anxiety and inhibitions, but in the long-run, it causes more anxiety than it resolves.

i think a way to help improve approach anxiety and anxiety in general is to quit alcohol. what are your reports or first-hand experiences or observations with approach anxiety with nonalcoholics ?

Excessive consumption of alcohol is by no means a good thing but I don't see how it could cause long-term anxiety. How much are you drinking anyway?

Nope. Best thing you can do is no fap as long as possible prior to going out
Read this a few times on here. What's the science behind it? Is it just about retaining your masculine energy while also keeping you hungry and motivated to find a femme to expend it on?

It depends on how old you are. Loosen up with alcohol and pop an Extenze if you think you have a good chance of getting laid.

Your focus is better and mind is sharper once you quit. I did it after reading about how alcohol affects your frontal lobe. You need it for your IQ (ability to retain and apply knowledge). Doctor's say that one beer will affect the frontal lobe for about 2 weeks. I quit after 5 1/2 years of drinking without ever missing a day. It was tough, just like anything else, but you put your mind to it and do it. I don't know about being more confident...I didn't give a sh*t about too many things before and still don't, but I see my interaction with people has improved. I feel like my replies to what people say are more intelligent than before and come out effortless. Quit if you can. It's much better.
Just sayin'....

I can see where it might work. 99% of the times I've gotten a phone # is when I'm tuned up on the booze. Back in the day I didn't know it was possible to have sex with a girl unless I met her at a club or a bar and had a one night stand. haha. It was just the norm back then for me. With alcohol and the right atmosphere I feel like I'm in the zone so to say.... but really the alcohol is a crutch. I know this. That's probably why my day game is so bad.....lots of missed opportunities.

Also, the effects of alcohol does increase anxiety....once you stop drinking. That is a proven fact, but once it's out of your system you should be good to go.

I quit drinking a few months ago. Much sharper. Going out and not drinking takes a bit of willpower, but look at it this way....They are doing the drinking for you. And if you meet a sober girl you won't seem like an idiot.

Only thing is, drunk/buzzed people are freaking annoying if you are sober. They all think they are hilarious and clever and they aren't. Now I know why bartenders are in moods half the time.

Seriously, work out before you go out. It will relax you and give you confidence.

Thats because alcohol causes an addiction, just like video gaming/watching p0rn/smoking. If you quit it, you will feel much better after a few weeks.

Yes.

No. What I noticed was that I was enormously less irritable. After a couple of months I noticed more strength / less tiredness and a return of my old self in terms of mental sharpness.

I get tons more sex now than I ever did when I was young. Approach anxiety is the same thing as youthful self-doubt. You grow out of it.
