just called, no pick up ,then text , text comes back saying its a landline, most chicks have a cell, do you think this could just be a straight up fake num, or poss her only number? she didnt seem poor at all

Tangent: I remember when I first came to this site I remember landlines were the norm. If you read some of Anti-Dumps old stuff he says cellphones, pagers, or emails don't count. You must get her HOME phone number.

Nah, bogus sh!t, fake number. It is the cell phone or nothing, unless the cell is broken, then ask for both. I no longer pick up the land line at all, thinking of canceling it all together. Sometimes they give you numbers of their friends and then laugh real hard, or don't pick up and bounce your text with something like "who is that?". That's for completely random approaches.

Believe it or not, the occasional woman doesn't have a cell phone. If you got a phone number and it works, count it as interest on her part and leave a message if she's got an answering machine.

I'm also from the era of the land line. Personally, I find I have much higher success rates with text messaging than I did with phone calls and answering machines.
