Anyone with success with significant age gaps on swipe apps?

I know there's some people on here that have had some success with swipe apps. What about 10, 15, or 20 year age gaps? Could there be any consistency with that?

haven't used swipe apps in many years, but from what i remembered most of the <25 year olds would set up age filters to screen out men over 30, which only give guys incentive to lie about their age. I'd imagine consistency with good looking younger women would be hard on swipe apps when you're 35+.

You lost me at swipe apps...
I live in a small city and had less than 200 women on Tinder and Bumble between the ages of 18-29. I swiped left on 90% of them. Out of the remaining 10%, the best I could do was a short text conversation with a gold digger.

Swipe apps are for larger metro cities not villages
What do you think is the minimum population requirement for an area for a working age, non-university affiliated man (generally 25+) to use swipe apps effectively?

I think it is 200,000 at a minimum, but a more realistic population number is 400,000+.

medium sized places work fine too, short term. I’ve used Tinder in rural places in CA and out on the Great Plains. But you need a population of at least 10k. And that was for a one-shot. Longer term, you do really need a bigger city.

I would say 2 million metro area and higher is a sweet spot, high growth rate unless it is NYC, LA, or Chicago, and decent logistics & city planning which would disqualify Phoenix, Orlando, and most of Florida tbh. Houston and Dallas are spread out, but they have enclaves where younger people hangout and are not that difficult to get too.

hahaha well I happen to live in east central Florida, about two hours away from Orlando and about an hour and a half from West Palm Beach. Vero Beach is basically a retirement community and Melbourne/Palm Bay have a little bit going on, but not much better. The area in Between looks like this:

The best I have done on swipe apps for younger was 8 years. But I do have an Indian buddy who routinely pulled 10-15 years younger than himself on swipe apps. Granted, he travels long distances to make it happen (way more than I would be interested in). But it is certainly doable.

Hahaha well not quite central Montana either. I'm pretty close to Melbourne and not too far of a driving distance from Orlando so I'm not complaining. Just not many young people within 25 miles from where I'm at.

I've been to most parts of Montana and driving from Orlando to Miami was pretty rough lol.

This is what I think about for my options, as of right now. Feel free to post any ideas.

1.) Online. Swipe apps in my local area I believe is a no go. Not enough young women in my area using them. If I cast a search in the Orlando area, the results I assume would be better. There's no guarantee it would work because my photos aren't exactly top notch. I could try dating websites as opposed to dating apps; that setup might work a little better in my favor but I suspect that still isn't going to work for me.

2.) Day game around shopping malls. I've been doing this locally and had a little bit of success last year. Orlando is about a three hour round trip, but there is more young women there, I could give that a shot. So far day game has been a better play for me than online dating apps, but again, low success rate.

3.) Overseas. Don't like the idea because most of these relationships are transactional, and that's not my thing. Plus I prefer people to speak my language. I can list other reasons why I don't want to go down this route.

4.) Night game. I think this is probably the best option. Locally, bars in my area are pretty rough but worth a shot since they are not too far away. I have some acquaintances that I meet up on occasion. I think the winner though is bars around east Orlando on the weekends (college bars).

@Plinco why can’t you just move to Orlando or closer to Miami? However, when I lived in bum frick Northern Great Plains America, I still found options on the apps and connections in town. I was 24 though, so that could be a factor.

I own a lawn business and a house here, so moving would not be easy. Economically, commuting makes more sense.

Perhaps you're a better looking guy than I am
