Did you meet Pavel? Cool. Does he have a Comrade accent?:D

Well you know the old Ebay maxim, 'If it sounds too good to be true......

My second hand, advertised 'kettlebell handles' turned up today.

Well for £15. They were advertised online and the guy said they were made by Scorpian, so I snapped them up. Turns out they are the heavy duty types like the Ironmind/Pullum ones.

Fvck me are they monsters, I don't like them though. They load vertically so you need something like a Bulldog II collar on them otherwise the weight and the centrepetal force send them off in your direction, bad design.

Anyway seen some in the states called kettlegrips and they look fvckin good value, so I'll get a pair of those I think. They do some smart micro-loading plates as well.

While we are on the subject of Pavel. Has anyone tried the 'bear' routine. It's his take on GVT as far as I can see.

My second day and I've been getting up to 15 set of 5 with about 120lbs but my lower back is pumped so much I can't do anymore, yet my legs are ok. I've checked my form and I don't think I'm using the back too much.

Has anyone tried this and had the same thing?
