Hi all,

I'm an HS Senior, and I was recently accepted to the University of Chicago! I'm really satisfied, and I may be attending in the fall, depending on where else I am accepted and my financial aid options.

So, did any of you guys attend UChicago, or are any of you going to attend next year?

I'd definitely like to talk with someone who is attending this coming fall, since if I decide to go, I'd like to know a person who is dedicated to self improvement at Chicago.

Thanks guys!

I never went to UChicago but my friend is in the master's program and my boss has an MBA from there, that's a top quality school. Congrats on getting in, man, that's no easy feat. Have fun with 10 years of student loans to pay off.

Yes, congratulations are in order. Well done sir.

Search "chicago" in the forums (perhaps the wingman forum) to see who is in that area. It's good that you have options. A man with options is a man with power. Good luck to you.

Thanks guys. College admissions has been really wacky this year, I am very lucky to have been accepted to such a great school. For instance, I was just waitlisted at George Washington University, which is a safety school for me...pretty odd

Yeah, student loans could be a problem, but I am pretty sure I will receive a substantial amount of aid from them given my family circumstances. Now, paying for grad school or law school, there is a problem ;)

Magma, I totally forgot sosuave has a wingman forum, mostly because I never look in it, haha. Thanks for the suggestion.

Wutang, yes it really is. If I attend, I'm hoping to be able to convince the advisers there to let me create my own major. I'd like to major in PPE, or Philosophy, Politics, Economics. So, hopefully I can study three subjects I find pretty interesting.

I was interested in going there. Was actually accepted there too. Too damn expensive though.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Millersville University for education (best state school in PA for education), but realized that I didn't want to go to education.

Now, I'm wondering aimlessly through college (no challenge and i just realized it last week). That is why I am preparing to switch to Caznovia College near Syracuse, NY next year for psychology.

not yet, and I'm not sure if I want to do a psyche major or communication major.

Have to still get an associates degree in Philosophy first.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.
