I hate dancing, but i'm gonna be going to a club for the first time pretty soon (within a few weeks maybe?). It's not necessary at all to dance, you can still pick up chicks.... I've got a few friends that are frequent clubbers, they dont' dance at all, but they pick up enough girls.

Is it good to go alone (with all the fights/b.s that occurs at clubs)? Or should I bring some friends along. I know that if I bring some friends along i'm not gonna be as motivated and the chances of them ****blocking are really high. I'm thinking I should go alone.

any specific club tricks/tips/do's/don't's that I should be aware of before I go?

I used to not dance when I went to clubs, and never had a good time, or talked to girls, but then I started dancing, just a little at first, then more and more, and now I want to go to the club and dance. Most girls that you meet at a club want to dance, thats one of the main reasons they are there.

I like to have my friends there with me, they have always tried to help me out, ex: introducing me to girls they know, convincing me to go talk to someone etc.. and if nothing happens with any girls you can still have a good time with your friends. Plus it might seem kind of odd to a girl if you were there by yourself, just standing/sitting there, not dancing. When you are with people it helps because girls see that you have some type of social status.

however, what If i'm near the bar area, getting a drink and just chilling? Do you think girls would find that strange?

i really hate dancing, and nothing is ever gonna convince me to dance. :)

Just a word of advice: the ladies might think you're a loser and that you have no friends. I say this due to an experience I had a few years back.

Me and a buddy of mine went out one night on a 2 man mission. He got sick later in the night, so I told him to wait for me in the car, as I wanted to get at least a few numbers before we left. This one cute girl was by the bar area where I was at and I began talking to her. One of the first things out of her mouth, in a disgusted and surprised tone, was: "Are you here alone?!" She didn't believe me when I told her my friend was outside, and she just assumed I was a friendless chump and walked away.
Of course, I just shrugged it off as her being a c*nt. After that experience, however, I decided that I always needed a few friends with me when going out.

By the way, as you correctly observed, it is definitely a good idea to be with friends just in case a fight breaks out!

It wouldnt be wierd if you were sitting by the bar, but they might want to dance with you, they can take this in different ways, 1) you have no interest in them, 2) you dont like dancing, 3) you are a challenge (good thing), there are other things that they might think, but i'm not a girl so I dont know what they are.

Yea I forgot to mention earlier about the whole fight breaking out thing, I agree that it would be good to have friends there just in case.

judging from the posts most people that go to clubs arnt fully comfortable with the idea of just enjoying themselves. If you go in with the only aim to PU an act of desperation and nervousnous will come over you.

Just let go.

Go to a club which plays your favourite music and dont give a flying fuk if you get a girl or not.

Recently, only my holiday to Shanghai, China, I went to one of the better clubs there cause the DJ played excellent Hard house and progressive trance. I grabbed a JD and sat down on a seat overlooking the dancefloor and movie screen. I was too drunk and tired to PU so instead I enjoyed to music and nodded my head to the beat.

Throughout the whole night I had 3 gals trying to pick me up and 2 girls sat right next to me and kept looking over. I was still drunk and amazingly I did all the rejecting for once. For one night I didnt care about women.

i drove by a local club today and just hung out at the parking lot to observe the atmosphere.

I noticed that a lot of guys there try to be dj's, a lot of them, you can actually pick out who's "trying" to act like a dj etc. Clubs are very stereotypical indeed

at first i was like damn, when i go how would i compete with these phonies. Then I thought **** it! i'm the real deal, those guys are just what they are, phonies

you just have to have it in you and forget about all the other phony players, dj's etc

I've been to clubs only twice and both times I've never danced. I don't know how. So I'm wondering if I approached a group of girls and introduced myself. Then if the mood was right then said something along the lines of. "Its my first time in a club. I'd like to dance but I don't know how. Would any of you ladies want to teach/help me?

Think that might work?

Dude thats kind of lame, especially if your 22. Now im not dissing on you but thats how a girl in the club would see it.

Face it guys, IF YOU CANT DANCE - LEARN.

If a girl sees you on the dance floor, moving like a pimp, her mind is immediatly going to be thinking "Wow, look at him dance, i bet he can move real nice in the bedroom!"

Dancing is like sex. Your grinding, moving in a rythmic motions, touching, maybe kissing, going with the flow, it can be quite intimate.

If you cant dance girls are going to think u suck in bed.

Heres the scenario, its last summer.. my friends are broke, however im quite fresh and clean with a new outfit rolling in my bimmer. I get word that theres this teen club event going down.

So i was like fucc it, aint got sh1t else to do..

I went and scoped out the scene. Right as i pulled up i saw MAD *****ES walking inside in their club gear, mini skirts, porno shoes, tan bodies.. mmmm mmm mmmm.

Well i entered the premises, solo...payed the fee and was soon immersed an energetic aura bumping music and people having a good time. Well i was soon noticed by some people i knew. They asked if i was alone and i was like "yeah you know im rollin solo tonight, the boys are broke and i was like fucc em, im goin out!"

Well i ended up seeing a bunch of different people that night.. at first i was on the sidelines, just watching, trying to look cool lol.

Soon enough i had like 3 girls pass me by, one slapped me in the stomach, another said hi and the 3rd just gave me a nice smile.

I ended up dancing with 2 of the 3 and a few more honeys on the dance floor. The thing is, this was my FIRST TIME EVER dancing in a club like that.

However, i guess im just lucky because i have natural pimp skill. Heres how my first dance went...

My friend that i knew there was like "yo dude u wanna dance with this chicck?" I was like "is she hot" he replied.. "you know it"..i replied "lets do this".

Well he led me thru the packed dance floor, introduced me to this girl, he was like "hey, this is Julian, dance with him".

Next thing ya know i have a nice soft ass grinding my c0ck and it was wierd because this was my first time.. anyway it was sweet, i instantly got into the flow and we moved as one.

So ill tell u guys, if you dont like to dance, dont go to a club, go to a pub or something else thats more inclined to people who like to sit down and be lame.

Thats my word,

I'm writing without regard to the other replies, but if you really hate dansing so much, there is no problem. The point should be to have a good time rather then picking up girls. If you focus on picking up girls, then you are dissappointed if there are none.

But, if you try and just have a good time, you'll have an easier time to pick up girls, and probly eventually go dance for the fun of it... because I just have fun when I dance, and I don't know how to dance, btw, but I pretend every now and then, and its great.

As far as going alone to the bar, if you go to a bar that you know people are going to be, you might run into some friends anyway... People raeally don't start fights without a reason (with the occasional stupid reason), and it's not something to be worried about, most of the time you can talk your way out of a fight. If you are solo, its probably better to avoid fights cause you never know who will join. I for example have never started a barfight, although I've had to back up some people that did start them. And in most bars bouncers are on the scene very quickly if something does happen. Don't worry about it.

It's been recommended before, that if you are solo, the first steps in the bar you go approach any girl, or group of people.

I personally like going in groups of 2-3 to a bar that's gonna be happening, cause then you have some social proof to begin with, and I usually run into at least 1 person that I know.

I can't dance either, but I wish I could. At clubs, it really helps if you can dance because chicks love it. It's something you can use to win them over. But it's not to say you can't get a girl at a club without dancing, BUT, you would get a lot more by being able to dance.

I wouldn't mind going behind a girl and just slowly grinding, or doin some slow movement type of dance, but i would NEVER EVER go in there and start pulling some dance moves on the floor, that's just not me.

Its really not that hard to dance, I used to think I couldnt dance, and didnt really want to. Can you side step, u know,
left foot to the left, right foot to the left, right foot to the right, left foot to the right, then just do something with your hands, at first it might seem a bit akward but trust me you WILL have a better time there if you dance.

Ex. I didnt want to dance before, then my friends kept telling me I should, so I was like fuk it, went on the floor, was dancing for about 30 seconds when 2 HB7/8 started grinding all over me, I couldnt believe it, I think I danced with about 3 other fine azz girls that night, and every night, after that when I go.

If a girl see's you dancing with an HB8/9, she will want to dance with you, she will think that hb8/9 is dancing with you for a reason, and want some of that action. I've been at a club dancing with one girl, when another one walked by and smiled at me, so later I went over talked to her, danced with her and got her #. Just my .02, you dont HAVE to dance but it WILL help tremendously.

In general people look at people who are dancing on the dance floor. If you are sitting at the bar, chances are that people will not notice you.

Going to a club is all about having a good time. Women do not like men who are holding drinks in their hands and stare at them all night.

Most people in a club do not know how to dance. They move on the beat and do other funny things.

My experience is that if you dance, women will come to you and dance with you. Some just dance and some do some dirty dancing.

It feels fantastic to let yourself go on the music. Just try it.

dancing....

Sharpshooter, you seem to have the idea that dancing in clubs is like dancing in "Footloose" or "Grease". Nobody goes out there and starts doing synchronized dance steps like in an Usher video. All you are doing is basically rubbing up on a girl in a rhythmic motion, hopefully turning her on sexually. Girls love to touch and to be touched, and dancing gives them (and you) the perfect opportunity to do just that. Also, whether it is right or wrong, girls think you can f#ck good if you can dance good, and vice versa. If you can show her some moves and make her think you have a decent amount of coordination and creativity, she will think you can bring those same good moves to the bedroom.

Look at it this way: by starting to dance now, you will only get better. For some reason, girls find a good dancer extremely attractive, so I would suggest getting your ass out there and have a good time. No matter what happens, it's better than standing with the rest of the losers on Death Row (the area of men lining the dance floor, staring at everyone else have a good time).

I do actually :p Sometimes I'll go fullout on the dancefloor and almost hold a danceshow/danceoff :p Well not as technical as an usher video but still stuff like that :p I also dance swing/latino at clubs with girls, like real steps/moves. (I know several dancers) The better you are at dancing the more "value" you show, but it's important not to do it in a too "showoffish" way being arrogant about it. I really suggest people learn to dance good!

You are right on this though :) Basically dancing is all about having FUN and showing that you have fun doing it :) Dancing is sex with your clothes on so ye if you can dance good girls think you are good in bed!

If that is one thing I definately know how to do is Dance. I have had many girls notice me by my dancing. I learned how to dance by going to all night parties or "raves" back in the day. I am pretty picky when it comes to dancing with girls at clubs, most girls don't have good rythm or they try to lead and that is not happening. Every now and then you will find a girl who fits you right and moves smoothly with you. I hate those out of sync girls who dance the opposite way you're grinding on them. I'm like done, next!! But if she is really hot I'll compromise:) Learn to dance women love it trust me.
