It will end up getting panned due to portraying a woman negatively, though that won't be the ostensible reason given. Women do not like watching negative portrayals of women as the main character unless the character in question is cartoonish, clownish or there is some positive female foil they can identify with in an equally prominent role. There's not in B&C, so it will annoy the female audience. This is why we don't have nearly as many female antiheroes or realistic villains in movies and tv as male antiheroes and such.
