Anyone else prefer 7's & 8's to the 9's & 10's

Maybe I am different, but I would prefer to actually date a 7 or 8 chick as opposed to a 9 or a 10.

I know alot of guys like to get super hot girfriends to show them off.

However, I am a reserved and don't like bring attention to myself. This is exactly what a 9 or a 10 will do!!

Anyone else like this?

Definately, I'd take a quirky, fun and interesting 7/8 over a high maintenance (and usually totally fake and shallow) 9/10 anyday.

I don't care about the attention I get, as long as I am happy with her behaviour towards me and how she pleases me in bed that it doesn't matter if she is a 7 or a 10. As long as it lies within that range of looks and that line of behaviour I will be satisfied.

Granted a girl who is a 10 and does all of the above will be the bomb. However I have yet to meet such a girl since the more positives they have in one area the more negative they have in another area, a balance of the two is the ideal to look for.

All things considered equal (such as the maintenence issue), I think most guys prefer 9s and 10s to the 7s and 8s.

But I genuinely prefer the 7s and 8s. There's just too much drama involved with dating a super hot chick because she will always get hit on by guys everywhere. I know part of being a DJ is having the self-esteem not to become jealous. But cut the BS...any self-proclaimed DJ will still get jealous when his girlfriend get asked for her phone number daily.

You do have a point, since looks are subjective. But this is how I see it

Scale:

1-4's- Chicks who are fat or have unattractive faces (few chicks fall into this category)

5-6's- Average looking chicks. These are chicks who are not ugly, but are not really cute in any sort of way. (Alot of chicks fall into this category)

7-8's- Cute and attractive looking chicks. They are not drop dead gorgeous, but they are attractive (Alot of chicks fall into this category)

E.g. Think Reese Witherspoon, Bridget Fonda, Jennifer Aniston, Christina Ricci etc.

9-10's- Women so attractive (usually perfect face and body) that almost every guy will notice her when she walks into a room. No matter what a man's tastes are, he will most likely find her very beautiful. (Very few women fall into this category)

E.g. Catherine Zeta Jones, Natalie Portman, Monica Belluci, A.J. Cook, etc.


This is my opinion of a "universal" rating scale.

in my experience, the as a you go up the scale, it gets exponentially harder to date them. Like, a 9 is 10 times more maintenance than an 8, and a 10 is 100 times more maintenance than an 8.

With that being said, I prefer 7/8. Right in that sweet spot: cute and hot in her own special way, but not hot enough to have everything delivered to her right on a plate her whole life, so she had to develop some kind of personality. THATS what I look for.

I hang out with the less popular kids, those that have great personalitys.
There is this girl which is an 8 which has exactly what i am looking for thus makeing her more attractive than a 9.5 thats in my class.

I pretty much don't settle for somthing under a 7.5, maybe a 7 but nothing less.

Nothing prevents a 7 from being a pain in the azz and a 10 to treat you like a king -- too many things influence this. Hell, I know some 4's that think they're the best thing since sliced bread.

The woman has to pass the visual inspection. And after that I still expect good treatment.

Looks definitely matter, but as you exceed the criteria of a person then personality comes at play. If a 7 is doing a good job at getting you aroused and she has a great personality, most guys would prefer her instead of a 10 that had some serious issues.

I would encourage guys to go out in the field and MEET and GET TO KNOW 9's and 10's to find out what they are ACTUALLY like.

A lot of "10's are *****y and shallow" is just a rationalization for not approaching of getting them....

Having said all that I absolutely prefer the hottest possible girl I can get to any others.

Given two women, both of whom are equally skilled in bed, thoughtful, intelligent, witty and funny, would you rather have one who is HOT.....or one who is SORTA UGLY?

I think the choice is clear and any guy who says it's not is just trying to fool himself.

Taking the conditions you mentioned, any guy who choose the uglier one has self-esteem issues.

What I don't understand is why do you guys even rate women? Do you treat them differently based on how hot they are? Isn't rating women the same as putting them on a pedestal? Either she turns you on, or she doesn't.
