Anyone dating or have dated a high school girl?

Legal age of course... My state, the age of consent is 16. Problem is I'm being seduced bye a 17 year old. Very bright, intelligent, more mature than others her age but of course I still see the "kid" in her which is fun.

Now I know there are plenty of guys out there my age (34) that would throw her in the sac and pound away, but I'm not that way. I almost feel as if I would be taking advantage of such a young sweet and tender being. Mind you I had a child at 19 and regret nothing so I am between a rock and a hard spot. On one hand, I somewhat knew what I was doing and have no regrets, but on the other, should I be concerned for her? I do care for her as there is a another HUGE dilema in place and I will throw that one out there later.

Too funny... She brings up the let's don't tell anyone and I say wait until your 18 and your mind will probably change. She says she's okay with that but constantly wants to see me and hang out. This sh!t is hard to walk away from. Actually, I thought she was about to be 18 when all of this started so I was halfway okay with it, then found out, nope, about a year before the magical 18 number.

This is another question... If the age of consent is 16 and I decide to go for it (Already decided that won't happen), then I essentially would be having sex with a minor. That just sounds way wrong and isn't that still illegal

FWIW: The other day, on the radio, some guy called in to talk about his step daughter, who, at the age of 17, was sneaking around with her 34 year old teacher. That was a few years ago, and today, the two are married to each other and have two children.

As far as i understood your post you consider her as a potential sexual adventure and not a LTR (what is theoretically possible but very unlikely).
Maybe you are not interested in her because her personality but because of her age. Most of us strive for something special or exotic.
Another thing to consider is your reputation. Lets say you have sex with her and somehow this turns public. Would it hurt your reputation?

You are correct. I guess it could come off as a lecture, but as I said, I do care for this young woman and would like her to understand this may be a phase for her and I want her to think things through. She actually mentioned that I bring this up a lot and I did feel like I was lecturing her treating her like a kid. I guess that's why I feel odd about the situation. I brought up that she should be experiencing her youth and enjoy it, to which the reply was, this is an experience for her. I couldn't disagree with that..[/QUOTE]

If this was a sexual adventure, that would have already happened. I understand the age gap and realize that it probably would not last, but why should I waist my time thinking about it instead of giving it a chance. Could be a great year. In a year of course... Guess in this present day america, a woman capable of holding discussion on presidential race must be considered intellectual. At 19 you had a child. This girl is practically in your child's age group. Would your child be happy for the dad to dating someone his/her age?

Remember the HUGE dilema I mentioned in the original thread??? It's not society I care about, it's her Dad, whom I'm friends with.

I have joked with him in the past that in just a couple of years she's fair game to which he agreed. I'm just not sure bumping it up this soon would be acceptable. He knows very well I'm attracted to youunger women and would pat me on the back if I brought an 18 year old around. I'm just not sure about it being his own... haha - what a fvckin mess I'm in!

I like to think I am a quality dude. I've read where 30 something year olds are bangin 17 year olds living in moms basement playing video games all day. That's not me in the least. So ya, a thought is Dad would be greatful because I wouldn't treat her like sh!t.
