Just curious, has anyone here been to any PUA bootcamps or something similar? Seems like it could be a great experiance, but they do cost a large amount of money. I would perhaps like to do one someday, if I could ever afford it.

Anyone spent the cash to attend one?

What do you do at these..."Bootcamps?" I mean do they go and take you to a club and help you guys out see what is flawed in your game and give you pointers......or do they keep you couped up in a room and lecture you on what you should do? If it is the latter then I would become bored and probably just leave since firsthand experience is so much better IMO.

I know a few guys who paid thousands of dollars for professional bootcamp sessions and I have to say, there are better ways.

Form your own little group or lair and start from scratch. If you learn together, you'll have a support group that you can trust. You genuinely want to help each other learn and you can all contribute your experience. IMO much better than some guru trying to teach a room full of strangers.

I've met a few guys who have taken them, but I'll only tell you of a former wing who I hung out with a lot and trust to give an unbiased opinion.

He took the RSD bootcamp and told me it was crap. Most of the instructors refused to approach and when he finally convinced one to approach, the girls just blew the guy off. He then came back to wing and tried to act like it was all a big joke and he didn't really try, but wing was not impressed. He told me that some of the intructors were kind of weird and had very poor results the few times they did try approaching women.

Same guy also took a MM seminar. This was quite a while ago and he told me Mystery was actually teaching some of the workshop at this time. He told me it was quite good. I should also tell you though that VA instructors use props, basically paid girls are part of the show, so with Mystery you really never know what is real versus his illusion of real.

Basically, these guys take all your $$$$ and that's what they build their supposed "lifestyle" with. You could just as easily call yourself a guru, take a bunch of cash and buy a fancy house complete with hookers and party girls and you'd be a guru too! That's not to say some of the advice isn't good, as much of it is, but paying thousands and thousands makes no sense at all, especially given the somewhat dubious nature of some of the people involved.

Most companies have 'Bootcamps' which are usually 3 day events where they take you out to clubs and places for day game, they teach you the ropes, demonstrate, make you aproach and give you pointers and advice in real time to help you improve your game. Most companies have seminars of 'superconfresces' as RSD calls them where like you said, you just sit in a room. Some people only give seminars. I don't think i would ebver bother with a seminar, but a bootcamp seems innteresting.

I think bootcamps are just a startign point. Seems like a good one, if your rich lol. I'm planning on joining a lair when I move enxt year, till them I'm on my own. But care to elaborate on your first sentance?

I'm surprised about what he said about RSD, I've heard good review from them, apart from thundercat but no way I would go by what he says. You can tell Tyler is really passionate and he views bootcamps as the backbone of the company. Seems strange they would be such poor quality. But keep in mind I am not speaking from experiance. They have excellent products though.

I would only ever take a bootcamp with one of the bigname companies, and I would check the instuctors to see if they have made a name for themselves. I doubt I would ever blow my life's savings or anything like that but it really interests me. However some of the feedback I'm getting isn't too promosing. I wonder what charsima arts would be like? They are a fair bit cheaper too i think.
