Anybody watch the Bachelor?

Love that show. The guy is hardly a PUA--it's hard to miss when there are 30 chicks for 1 guy, but I love watching the interactions. The guy could look and act like Paul Reubens and still have women salivating for him with all that social proof.

Still fun though, I watch it with my MLTRs (the ones who don't hate it) and sometimes we have drinking games based on it. Lots of fun to see womens' reactions to the women on that show. Sort of a sociology experiment I run on the women I know.

I also enjoy seeing all the different female personalities on display, because it helps me see what I like in women and what I don't like.

I don't really watch it but my wife does and I've been in the room playing on the computer when it's on so I do have clue about how it works and what's going on. I had to sit thru one of the episodes the other day.

It's funny how competitive the women get in that situation. I always wonder if they'd even give the bachelor the time of day in real life. I love how they all start falling in love with the guy when they don't even know him. Even more comical are the ones who start crying like babies when they get sent off after the 1st or 2nd episode. They've only spent an hour or two with the guy but it's like the world has come to an end. It's all a big attention fix for most of them I think.

There is one woman on the current episode who caught my eye and seems quite genuine. (At least that's how the show portrays her) I think her name is Emily. She's the one who's ex-bf died in a plane crash that she was supposed to be on. Only to find out afterwards that she was pregnant with his child. Now she works at a children's hospital or something. Anyhow I've always thought every woman on that show is a nutbar but for some reason she seems pretty real. She's quite beautiful too. Give it a few more episodes and she'll be a headcase too.

Ive watched the first few shows. Really like the blond, Emily. The brunette Chantel (who imo will win) and for laughs I like the crazy brown haired girl. Cute, but nuts.

As for the bachelor, seems like a good guy. Nice looking as well. I would love to know where that mansion they stay in is at, I know its in CA, but dont know exactly where.

Speaking of CA, I just had a very surreal experience. Once in a while I go over and play poker at this Moose lodge where an actor friend of an ex of mine belongs and runs a poker tournament. Well I was on their email list and another member there, an older guy who is used to be a sitcom writer and who now teaches writing at UCLA, emailed me to play in a tourney tonight. So I go over, and pretty soon Kato Kaelin walks in as he got invited as well. We both wonder over to the bar and start talking over a drink for half an hour or so before things started, mainly about sports, and then we sit next to each other in the poker tourney, so we talked quite a bit. very nice guy. We exchanged emails, he is going to get into some stocks I give him, (RTGV? haah) and we will get a drink together at some point. Ya never know what can happen here in la la land.
