anybody smoke cigarettes?

i used to smoke a few cigarettes in high school (mainly to be cool and look hard lol). In college though, i started the habit again once my courseloads got really tough.

having a cigarette as a study break is pretty much unbeatable (aside from obvious health concerns). anyways, because of college, im pretty much a smoker now, maybe 3-5 cigs a day.


anyways, most girls i meet hate it when i smoke, but not enough for smoking to actually interfere with my game.

heres a question to fellow smokers: anybody ever have their game hindered by a girl's dislike for smoking? and is it acutally a hindrance? i;ve actually read some DJ's material before about how smoking acutally helps game because it shows a disconcern for the mainstream. while i dont know if i believe that im just wondereing what fellow smokers think about it.

Not a fellow smoker, but I thought i'd offer you some advice. In my experience the chicks that smoke are scene kids of various persuasions (emos, goths, punks) or intellectual artsy types who as you quite rightly point out are looking for ways to raise a middle finger to the system. Artists, indie music fans, existentialists.

If any of the above are your scene, then go right ahead! If you're more of a sporty guy or not really into any of the above, the sorts of girls you want to attract won't be into the smoking.

Be careful though, you'd be surprised how fast 5 cigs become 20, and then half a pack and so on. Nothing attractive about chronic disease, but im not telling you anything you don't already know.

If a chick is turned off by your smoking, mildy mention that you would "quit for the right reasons if it came to that." You didn't say you'd quit for her or any other woman, but she will think you did. If she's around long enough to think you would quit for her you can tell her you meant if you ever had kids or some other excuse. I do know this though, it's extremely hard to pick up women in the library before finals when you have a dip in...
