Anybody live in Manhattan NYC?

I would have posted this in the 'anything else' section but it's urgent, so if you're a MOD Chill out for a minute.

I've got an interview in Manhattan on the 21st and two more on the 22nd. I'm gonna be arriving in New York via a megabus from Washington, DC on the 21st and it'd be awesome if I could stay with anybody who has a place in Manhattan for the night of the 21st. I'll sleep on the floor, i don't care. YOU DON'T HAVE TO FEED ME. All i need is a roof over my head on the 21st in manhattan. I'll split early in the morning.

Why the desperation? Cause I'm trying to become a comedian and I've worked my butt off in order to try to make it to NYC or LA. Here's my big chance to actually land a job in New York City and start doing the comedian thing on the side, 2 years ahead of plan. I'm excited and pumped, and yes, Broke as Sh!t. I've basically got enough money to catch a bus to and from. I've looked into places to stay in Manhattan, but even by the night they are expensive as hell.

The world is an extreme difficult place, I realised long ago theres nobody to help you, and we are on our own.

1) I would advise get a part time job, anywhere shop etc, just to get started, save up then apply again.

OR

2) try to find a job in the place your going to before you go.

OR

3) get a short amount/ loan from family etc until you get your career up and running

I know some say its hard to find a job, but you have to keep pursuing,
I was in your situation when I was studying, and even after graduating took a bit of a while to get the job i wanted, I had to do even low paid jobs, and while I was working I was applying for the job I wanted until I got it , I would help you out mate if I knew you better and you was in where im living, but I know what its like when things can get tough.
