Dead serious. I've been on dates but nothing ever materialized into a serious relationship. Plus, I took lengthy breaks to try to "find myself" when I should have just kept searching. It's okay to take a break from women but you don't want to go overboard. If the OP doesn't get over his ex, then he just might find himself in the same boat.
