Any way to fix this?

Hi. I screwed up a night in New Orleans for new years eve with my girlfriend of 13 months. She said that I shot down her ideas about the trip. I did, not on purpose, and I just assumed we would spend it together else where. Of course she did not think that and she invited one of her girlfriends to go. Now she doesn't want me there because she says her friend will feel like a third wheel. Is there anyway to fix this so she will want me to go? I could use some help with this.

Get a friend for her friend and cross your fingers.

I will try to find a friend for her friend. If not I will spend new years eve with my friends.

I don't have any way to get in contact with her friend.

talk to her friend about it

im sure if she realised that she is preventing a couple from being together on that special night then she would back down

it all sounds a bit weird though! talk to her friend!
And how do you think his girl is going to feel about that when her friend tells her?

I think the friend will totally understand

The friend will then present his girl with the same argument, that a couple should be able to spend the evening together, the girl will come to her senses and agree

After 13 months it should be an unwritten rule that the couple comes first, you people must live in a very strange place. The boyfriend in this case would be right to be confused and angry at this!
Who cares about the friend. The concern should be with what the girlfriend will think once she finds out that he went behind her back to tell her friend that she should turn down her invitation. The girlfriend already feels that he shot down her idea and didn't want to go in the first place, then he goes and tells the person she invited to take his place that she shouldn't go??. Do you believe that his girlfriend would go along with this without getting more pissed off?

I talked to my girl a little while ago. She said I was being dramatic about trying to go with her. She has been making me frustrated like this for a while and I am tired of her antics. That's a whole other story. She said she was just going home for new years.

Maybe you should take your girl somewhere else for New Year's... I mean just scrub her whole plans and take her somewhere you wanted to go, it would show your dominant and you will be with her so problem solved? Good luck.

This could work if she still wants to get together. It sounds as if there are some unmentioned things going on in the background that may be the real issue and this New Years thing is just a symptom of something bigger.

lol don't you hate when that happens. She might go out there and get fu cked lol cuz they are going to be clubbin and she might run into a guy like MEHOW, who could game your girl in front of you, and wont have a problem doing it behind your back. Its not that your girl is untrustworthy its that they have no control over there attraction swiches, if a guy knows how to hit these right he will get her wet :nervous: regardless. So yeah do yourself a faviour and don't let her go...
