any tricks you guys know to avoid smelling like alcohol?

sometimes when i mack on girls at bars or clubs ill smell like alcohol or it will be on my breath and if the girl is sober, she tends to be more reserved.

what do you guys do to mask the smell of alcohol? chew gum? breath mints?

I was joking. Carry mints or gum if your worried about your breath.

You don't NEED alcohol yo have a good time. But like everyone else said your best bet is gum or mints. I usually smoke a cigarette or two. Or I have the I don't give a **** mindset and not care if I smell like this or that and go ahead anyway.

A little alcohol on your breath at the club is normal. It's not like you'll reek of booze, that's when you'll have a problem. Gum or mints will clear your breath up nicely (I used to have these super strong mints that would get rid of the taste of cheap beer in a sec, those were perfect).

Bring a tomato to the club and eat it after you drink. If it can cover up the smell of onions it can clear your breath up.

Drink a glass of water and then have a mint or gum. Ice Breakers are pretty good and light tasting/smelling so you don't appear to have just "popped a mint" in order to make your breath smell good to talk to someone. Water cleanses your breath pretty good especially when alcohol dehydrates you and makes it smell worse.

A careful choice of not so smelly drinks, sipped slowly. Interspersed with the odd fresh tasting soft drink and regular strong mints are my choices for this.

Vodka doesn't smell as much as other spirits. I think it has something to do with sugar quantity - vodka doesn't have much. Vodka tonics all day.

+1 Vodka wont smell on your breath as much as other alcoholic beverages. But it is way more fun to talk to girls that have been drinking as well.
