posture

i have had a problem with a "lazy back" they called it. I actually went through therapy when i was younger.they just gave me back excercises to do. I then stopped them and i was getting embarrased, becuase a few family members told me to stand up straight. so now, im almost 22 and i always walked straight with my chest out. i have printed out excercises that i do to make my back strounger.

my new job, i walk almost 8 hours a day. so my back was hurting alot like after u first start working out cause ur not used to it. well it is getting better each day cause it is used to being staight. it is always in the back of my mind to stand up straight especially when i see people slunched.

Interesting post. I was told in martial arts class when I started that I had poor posture. I think it takes alot of practice.

One thing I've noticed alot is that if I sit up straight I feel alot more energized in a chair.

Posture definitely will effect how you physically feel, of course physiology determines emotions (ala Tony Robbins)

First, my chiropractor said that even though he has a good posture he still has to consciously sit and stand erect. I think that is a good way to train your body "think" the right way of a good posture.

Then, there's weight training. Light weight training. Train the muscles that stabilize and correct posture (ie rhomboids).
