America is best
I was. The bad part if it was my family is religious. I was taught no sex before marriage.

I remember one time when I was young, my parents were talking about how these two people, had a kid before marraige.

I always listen and pay attention. So I asked, how can they have a kid and not be married, I literally did not know. Well I love my parents but they responded with silence, I feel that is ****ty.

Also, I did have a social group comprised of other homeschooled kids ( yes we find eachother and meet up, I had extra curricular classes such as: alaska class, electricity {funny I study electrical engineering now})I also had friends who went to public school, but they were also broken families, mostly. Fvcked up.

I do have advantages being home schooled. I think American public schools are sh!vt, well they are. They are feminized, and feminism always= shivt.

I think homeschooling is good. But you need to raise your boys with a proper perspective, God bless my conservative parents but I feel they don't understand the world we live in. They are holding on to old values, that honestly are good, great, and I wish were still applicable, but we live in a hard, cold society. They ment well, and they did they best they could. My father is a good man, a strong man, and honestly I still kind of fear him, just a tad. But I love the sh!t out of him.

He was always a bit cold, I mean sh!T when I was bad as a kid he used to make me go get the big black belt from the closet. I remember bare butt spankings where I was held by one ankle. But he never over-did-it.

My mom grew up in Chicago, never knew her father. My mothers mother was an alcoholic, physically and mentally abusive woman. Honestly had it not been for christianity she would have become a drug addict/ prositute. Christian life ministry saved her.

My mom stayed home, cooked, cleaned (but of course when we were old enough she made us do chores, but we did get coupons wich we excahnged for small amounts of money, i never got a free allowance)

To me, understanding myself, is closely tied to understand my orgins, my fathers side of the familt, moy mothers side.

I've spent a lot of time analyzing this. Maybe to much. However, I come from a more traditional family. I know some of you say you got the sh!t end of the stick when it comes to family, I did not, I honestly have to remind myself that i'm lucky.

I take my family very seriously

What do you guys think about homeschooling? I think its a good idea. Do it the way you feel is right.

I personally hope I can do this for my children. I want my kids to be th very best, way better than me.

I want them to be socially better, intellectually better, and epsecally my sons to make money.

I implore you yo home school your kids. Fvck these faggot public schools. They are ****.

Thoughts? *****es? gripes?

Personally, I think this entire education system needs to be revised. Public schools are sh!t, but the most important things you learn from it are social skills. Home-schools (at least as far as I know) give a good education - I mean they kinda have to, seeing as you'd be the only student - but its harder to develop good social skills.

Like I said, everything needs to be revised. We live in a world today where a big majority of the skills we need or want to learn can be done online, but the education system still leans toward traditional methods.

We honestly need a more individualized system - instead of the current generalized one - while still having being able to develop our social skills easily. Unfortunately, it'll be a cold day in Hell when school boards realize this.

They would much rather look at where we've been, and generalize everything, instead of looking forward and teach us only what we actually need.

I went to about ten different schools, the last three years of school I was home schooled.. And by home schooled I mean given the books and expected to pass.

Any way I didn't finish school.

Tbh 12 years of school and I haven't found any real world application to the stuff thought in school besides reading, writing and basic math. :/

To the OP, your parents instilled you with good values. It's not your fault that the world is filled with sh!t. It does sound like they were a little too rigid with the sexuality though.

I agree with Eph, the most important part of school is learning social skills. You might not get that with homeschooling. On the other hand, public schools can be cesspools. In my day they were full of drugs, I imagine they still are. Then there's bullying, and now there are lunatics with guns to worry about. Private schools might be a compromise.

Sadly true, for the most part. I really question the need for kids to be schooled as long as they are. It must be partly just to keep them off the streets. In the old days they would be out working the land.

Right on. The main problem with public schools is the fact that over 75% of teacher are female. And you can bet your @ss that the vast majority of these women are modern, "empowered" feminists as opposed to traditional, conservative ladies. I've been on a few first dates with young teachers and they were literally some of the worst women I've ever met. What sort of values can these feminazis teach little kids, especially boys?

And they're usually married to an overly righteous government worker of some sort, military, police... that kind of sh1t.

We don't get too many broads over here teaching, they are sent packing by the foreign men around when they realize the local women outclass them 10 to 1. They come over all ready to liberalize the world and have a 'foreign adventure/experience'... it rarely pans out for them. Over in the West they can spout their bvllsh1t and pat each other on the back. In the East there's absolutely no one to listen to them, or care and 90% end up fat and lonely.
