I'm from the UK and I'm about to finish my work contract and have decided to take a time out, but I'm hoping to do something simple and part time from home to make a bit of cash.

I've looked into some schemes but they're mostly dodgy or don't live upto what they promise. I'm not looking for anything that requires an upfront fee or setting up a business etc but if someone has any tried and tested suggestions I'd be interested to hear them. Cheers!

You want the money but don't want to have to do anything to obtain it? Sounds like you really don't want the money after all.

I'm not expecting to make a lot. I just want to do a little work from home to earn some extra pocket money, but I don't want the responsibility or comitment of a contracted job or business at the moment. I've just finished a 6 month contract and want a break.

I would suggest trying to get a job teaching privately or tutoring. YOu can make anywhere from $20-$50 per hour depending on what subject you teach and how much you want to charge.

Most of the online stuff are get rich qucik scams. I wouldn't trust that stuff. But there's ways like tutoring that you could make your real side money. I work full-time and also tutor highschool and college kids for standard tests and stuff.

Plus i bet you'll meet some hotties. Thats how I met one of my ex-gfs.

or teach something else you know, like Piano lessons or guitar lessons. Put an ad in the paper. You'll make money and meet people including some beautiful women.

edit: By the way I forgot to mention, you can also contact some agencies that will hire you to tutor for them. Here in the states we have Kaplan and Sylvan learning centers. i'm not sure about the Uk.
