I don't hold the position that all bigotry should necessarily and automatically be stifled. If something is true, it's true and if it's not, it's not. Liberal professors ruining people's education opportunities is worse than a beating. Absolutely professors like her give white males a "C" for "A" work if not outright try to fail them. I saw it repeatedly in college. That alone can affect your GPA so you can't compete and get into your major. But discrimination and bias against white males is not only tolerated and not investigated it's encouraged policy.

I'm not on any team, liberal or conservative. To be on a team and blindly believe what that team's marching orders are is to be a sell-out to free thinking and your own conscious.

I've been around awhile now and lived a pretty varied life. I, as a white male even of extremely modest means as a child, have received generous benefits in life. I've been hired ahead of female friends with more experience, promoted ahead of gay friends with better "numbers", seen police favor over the Puerto Rican gangs who we warred with as teenagers, and even been let an apartment by a landlord only to have it mysteriously and mistakenly rented when he saw my black roommate.

So no, I don't pick this particular issue because it's a easier road. I pick it because I want to make my friends, family, and my daughter have an easier road right along with me.
